The red velvet cake tasted like it came out of a Duncan Hines cake box. Definitely not homemade. I’d challenge that if told otherwise. The strawberry cream cupcake was dense and overly sweet. The chocolate and vanilla cupcakes were okay. I would not visit again.
I highly recommend Oh What a Cake! They just baked my daughter's wedding cake and cupcakes, which were beautiful and delicious! We have purchased numerous cakes over the years from this bakery and have always been 100% happy! The owner, Marcia, and her staff are very talented and go above and beyond to meet your needs. This is the best bakery in Columbia!
I had a wonderful experience working with Marcia via email for my custom Winnie the Pooh baby shower cake. She was very helpful in the design and working with our budget. The cake was not only beautiful, but tasty as well. I recommended Oh What a Cake to several of my guests and I would recommend them to anyone else as well!

I got 6 cupcakes 3 were stale and the pineapple upside cake was stale. This is a hit and miss unfortunately I can’t afford to waste my money. Customer service was good and it smells great but I would keep moving.
They have really good cupcakes with lots of options. They have an eggless option for some of their cupcakes and they will work really well and closely with you for custom cakes and designs. I think they're cupcakes are pretty light and airy with their buttercream icings not being overly sweet. They have really great flavors on top of the classic flavors. Today I got some of their premium flavors and a snickerdoodle and carrot cake. Definitely try them out.

I was looking for a bakery to make my wedding cake. I found this bakery online in the Columbia search. The communication of Oh, What A Cake is excellent. I sent an inquiry email. They responded quickly and scheduled our wedding cake tasting. Their staff are very friendly and personable. During our cake tasting, the staff was very detailed in helping us in our wedding cake selections. Let talk about the cake. The flavors of the cake were delicious. Our wedding cake layers were butter(2) and lemon(1). Can I say the butter and lemon cakes taste like grandma’s homemade cakes? The cakes were moist and the icing wasn’t too sweet. Since our wedding day, we visit Oh, What A Cake on a regular basis. We can’t wait to have our top layer one year later. We will go here for all of our desserts needs. This is a top notch bakery. We have been ordering our birthday cakes from here since their inception. The cakes are always moist with perfect texture. You can tell they use the best ingredients. The icing is wonderful and tasty.I personally have a problem with soy and the ownerwent out of her way to make me the most delicious Chocokate cake with chocolate icing. Oh my g-d. The icing was phenomenal. It tasted like fudge. The cake was also scrumptious. This is a wonderful bakery. You will not be disappointed.
One of the best customer service expereinces I have ever had. Marcia went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our purchase and was extremely communicative the entire process. Took the time to understand our request and gained a loyola customer. Delicious cake, wonderful service, will definitely be using again in the future!
