I took my daughter there yesterday morning for breakfast (sat, 7/2). When we arrived there weren't any people waiting outside, but we put in our name and waited to be seated. That didn't take long. We were seated next to the kitchen area, and there were about 8-10 tables around us with no patrons. We waited for 20+ min about with multiple servers passing us. NO ONE stopped. No one even offered water, silverware, nothing. It was like we weren't even there. Sure I could have spoken out, but that's not my job. To not even be acknowledged by any staff in a restaurant is disheartening. We left our menu open on our table and we left. I won't be back to this particular IHOP. I know places are short staffed but this was too much. I mostly want the manager of this location to know, as they should, so they can educate their waiting staff on customer service.
Was greeted promptly one weekday morning and sat down. Business wasn't slow - there were a half-dozen other tables in our section.Despite this, the server completely ignored our table. Kept walking to every single other table while we sat there. No one even said, "be right with you," and other staff seemed preoccupied with themselves. After 15 minutes of not even an acknowledgment of our presence, let alone a drink order, we got up and left. The person at the front looked at us strangely, eyed the tables with the still open menus, but didn't say a word. Not the first time we've had horrible customer service there, but was definitely the final time. The staff seem more preoccupied with hanging out in the back than doing their job.Took our business to the Silver Diner at Gateway Overlook. Much better selection, food, and customer service!Do yourself a favor and let this iHop just fade away, like so many other badly run businesses on Centre Park. Hopefully it'll get replaced with something worthwhile.
Predictably good food as usual. The kitchen was super fast getting our food out but the servers were a little slow, otherwise it would have been five stars.
I took my daughters to dinner and had a good meal, good service and a good time. Maria the manager was wonderful and was helping a first day employee learn the job. They both did a great job. I am 50 and only took time to do reviews for restaurants maybe 2-3 times before today in my life. I think this is a good time to start. It’s not 5 stars because it’s not 5 star food BUT I had a wonderful time. Go and have fun!
Let me say this thing's started out good. Food came out at a nice temperature. As, I was still eating I was brought my check and told "You do not have to rush"! Finished, what I wanted to eat and than thing's changed. I ended up waiting forever to have my check taken up. They never came back to assist me. Was not pleased went to the front to pay still waited to be addressed nothing and here I still left the money for the food. Here I was planning on leaving the waiter a $10 dollar tip because they started out right. That changed after my food came out and they kept walking pass me even the manager and not asking me anything else after. Personally, I will not return to this location and that was my first visit to that location. Customer service is EVERYTHING to me.
I picked up an online order around 11 on a Saturday. It was BUSY! The food was good but the service left much to be desired. I pulled into the designated curbside pick up parking and called. I was left on hold for 5 minutes. An employee came out with an order that was not mine, twice. When I gave her the name, she seemed confused. Eventually she went back but never returned. After 15 minutes I went in the restaurant myself, found my order on a table full of orders and left. It was so busy I'm sure the employees didn't even see me. I'm sure if there was more staff things would have been better.
If you want your delivery/takeout order to be correct, maybe avoid this place.I gave them a couple chances but they keep forgetting basic things like including SYRUP in the bag with my waffles/pancakes, and one time I ordered TWO orange juices and they gave me ZERO (the Uber driver didn’t double check either).
Hands diwn the worst IHOP experience that I have had anywhere in the country. Clueless front desk staff (there were three, including the manager and assistant manager) were completely overwhelmed with the Sunday morning crowd, and the waiting staff apathetically slow and screwing up orders left and right.Unfortunately these reviews cannot be completed without giving a star, almost the same as the almost mandatory custom of tipping. I highly recommend that you find another IHOP if you want to have a relaxed breakfast or make your own at home. I know I will never come to this one again.
Great place. Alex was our server. Food was ready quickly . The restaurant is clean and well managed.
Awful restaurant. I recently came here in the evening for some pancakes with my 9 year old daughter. They sat us at a table fairly quickly. But that’s the end of the good news. We decided on our food selection, but nobody ever came to serve us. We waited for about 10 minutes, and watched the waitress pass us several times without acknowledging our existence. After 20 minutes of waiting, I went to the manager, and he told me that we shouldn’t have been given the table because they were too busy. No apology, no waitress, no nothing. We left a few minutes later. Please do not patronize this business. They need to change and have someone else take over an otherwise good location. The worst part was telling my 9 year old that there would be no pancakes that night because of incompetent management
