If I could give zero stars I would. I have visited the particular restaurant several times foolishly. Today is however the very last day. The level of incompetence and disrespect is at its peak. This was a online order of a simple two item breakfast order with orange juice and they couldn't get that right. I called to ask for the item to be delivered has it was not in the order when we received it. I called to speak with the manager on duty Marissa was her name she came to the phone and I explained what the issue was she started to talk over and then called me called "sweetie" when I asked not to be addressed as sweetie, she then called me "sir" I am a women nothing about looks nor does my voice sounds like a sir. I was simply asking for the item we ordered to be delivered since we paid for them and she said you can come it. Clearly if I could "come get it" I would not have ordered in the first place . The rudeness and level of customer service is appalling. I would not recommend this establishment with so many options of food in Columbia with much better service and better food, choose one of them. I will be reaching out to General Manger Dennis to share my experience with him I did request to speak the district manger which I was denied access to him. I manage a large property that sits across the street from this restaurant. Servicing the public is what I do all day and if any of our staff would have spoken and treated any of our residents or prospect in the manor in which we were this morning. There would be an serious issue.Update I found out that the manager on duty was actually Anna and Marissa was misrepresenting herself. Unprofessional all the way around...smh

I have visited this restaurant on many occasions prior to the pandemic and loved it. Today I was disappointed and this will most likely be my last trip. We visited at 10am the first two muffin selections we made were not available. The coffee was cold. The pastry I ordered reminded me of Costco. My breakfast bowl tasted like it is prepared, then microwaved. The bacon was rubbery. The presentation felt like carryout (plastic containers and paper plates and forks). The positive was the young lady who was the cashier, table cleaner, server, and she quickly changed the coffee when we informed her it was cold. She was pleasant and appears to be a hard worker.

Very disappointed. Dirty tables, lazy staff with no interest in customer service and sad food service. The coffee containers are not kept full. The portions are incredibly small for the price and the quality was lacking. I will not return.

It comes down to perspective. If you are looking for a consistent Corner Bakery chain experience - this location is not for you. They routinely close unexpectedly, are out of products but do not indicate that at time of sale, and generally operate as a take it or leave it restaurant. That said, there are things they are good at, if you are interested in those things and ok trying somewhere else if they are closed, it's still a good place to get food from.Be advised, against ordering online through Corner Bakery website as they outsource delivery and will not reimburse for missing products. If you want to order online, I recommend using DoorDash directly.

We looked at the online menu beforehand. There were no prices. There were also no prices to be seen in the actual restaurant. I understand they may not want to reprint paper menus when prices change but there certainly could be at least one laminated menu at the counter with the prices included. The paninis that my husband and I got were good but the macaroni and cheese was very disappointing, watery cheese sauce on the pasta. Little attention is given to "maintenance". The soap dispenser in the women's bathroom had either fallen from or been removed from the wall and was sitting on a chair near the sink along with a roll of paper towels. The trash in the dining room was stuffed full so we simply put our trash on top. Hardly an appetizing sight for customers getting coffee or soda. We will not return.

Poor customer service . Great tasting food. Workers dont smile, are very disconnected from customers. Have conversations amongst themselves even though customers are waiting in line .The supervisor manager was present and never apologized to me or the other two customers who waited 20 minutes just to take our ordersIt starts from the top down and the manager ( shorter Hispanic woman) didnt seem to care at all about the customers time..

I purchased 3 items. Cinnamon Creme Cake, Croissant and Cinnamon Roll. The customer service was on point. Very engaging, very attentive, smiles and banter.Croissant: good. Crispy, light and good flavor.Cinnamon Roll: Nicely iced, the balance of roll sweetness to icing was ok, but the flavor seemed to rely mainly on the icing. For me, the icing was too sweet, as if that's a thing which is what makes the flavor of the roll more noticeable.Cinnamon Creme Cake: Since I am somewhat of a baker, and cakes are my thing I always like to try something new. The portions are very good. The look of the cake when it was sliced was excellent, it was warmed for me, so excellent presentation. However, when I sat down in the cafe and decided to have a taste, I almost choked. The cake was very dry. I was expecting a more butter forward flavor, and a moist cake. Think about a true pound cake, although it's dense, it's also moist. This was not. I took it to my car where I had coffee, and that is the only way I could finish the slice. It's pretty to look at, but I would not purchase this again. The flavor is ok. It is too dry for my taste.I have not tried any of the other items, and there were plenty of choices. I would try a sandwich or soup next, maybe another bakery item. I wouldn't go back for the cinnamon roll or cake.

I ordered online through corner bakery, paid through corner bakery and then corner bakery outsourced delivery of my order to door dash. My order came without my drink. I called the restaurant to ask for a refund of my drink that wasn’t received. I spoke to a man named Derrick or Derrin who kept repeating that I needed to call door dash even though I had no information for door dash and couldn’t contact them through the app because I didn’t place the order with door dash. When I asked for a manager, he informed me he was the manager. I called door dash and they told me to call the restaurant as door dash didn’t get my payment and only handled the delivery. I called back to the manager and he again told me there was nothing he could do. Finally I gave up and accepted that my money was stolen when I got a call from corner bakery. He advised that he “spoke to door dash and they’re refunding the cost of my drink”. I then got an email from CORNER BAKERY refunding my money. This was my favorite restaurant and now I’ll never go there again because of the rudeness, dishonesty and unnecessary inconvenience I had to experience. What a ridiculous thing to make a customer deal with.

Food was decent, but felt very reminiscent of something I could've made at home. Portion sizes were definitely smaller than anticipated. The cafe was also very quiet, they had no music playing or anything to add to the ambiance.

I really wish I could give no stars because my experience with this location is always problematic but yesterday was the last straw.Ive been to this location a few times and the times I have went I always got an uptown turkey club and requested for it to be wrapped in the tomato basil tortilla without a problem. Yesterday I went in and requested for my usual. The cashier said it was okay , after I paid GLENDA the manager on duty comes over to me and says “You want a turkey sandwich wrapped which we can not do and don’t do here” I was confused and appalled by her demeanor and her aggressiveness while saying this. I responded “I’m not understanding why it can’t be done when it has been done before , why not?” She said “no no no we can not do that, I was not here when it was done and its not possible to wrap a grilled sandwich “ which is completely idiotic to say because you can make ANYTHING into a wrap. “So I said yes you can and if I can make a wrap you can make one” she said “YOU CAN MAKE THAT AT HOME THEN CAUSE WE DONT DO THAT HERE” and walked away and was talking about me to the kitchen staff in Spanish. She was extremely rude and didn’t care about my requests and didn’t even try to make it for me nor explain why it was impossible. I asked her who was the manager and she said she was the manager ,I asked for her name because there’s always someone higher up. This lady says to me “HONEY YOU CAN CALL WHOEVER YOU WANT I DONT CARE TELL THEM MY NAME AND DONT FORGET IT ITS GLENDAAA “ very loud and rude while saying this. She was rushing me out the restaurant failed to give me my chips until I asked for them she threw the the bag in my hand as well as my sandwich that was missing ingredients. My patience was tested all behind a turkey wrap. I walked out of there sick to my stomach and didn’t even want to eat. This lady is very bold and disrespectful. I can’t even come back to this location as long as she’s working there because I feel uncomfortable.
