While the food is very fresh and the bowls are typically $12 ( but a good size) with a variety of healthy options, the parking lot where they are located is a bit nuts. There popularity is apparent as the lines are super long, so if you dont have a long lunch, I would not suggest this place.
My go-to spot for a healthy lunch to keep my body going at peak performance. I'm so thankful for this establishment. It's flavor, its speed and access in comparison to mezeh is unmatched. Looking forward to many more visits to this establishment.
Awesome healthy, quick fresh type line you pick business. They even have great spicy sauces. Everything looked fresh even the avocado wasn't turning. Lots of options even the veg rice was amazing. I almost did not get it but I am soooo glad I did. the sauces tasted homemade. Every bite was like a taste explosion of what this earth has to offer. This is a great go to place. Just love it. Don't have time eat here, take it to work, home or eat it every day. Bet you will feel healthier.
Our family goes to this location once a week -- There is a lady by the name of Nancy who is so bright and positive and just makes my day every time. She give a meaningful "hello!" to every customer and always has a smile on her face. She remembers me and my daughter and tries to make her laugh by being silly.Nancy makes this location shine.
The food is usually always good, today there was some burnt Brussel sprouts and hard sweet potato, that’s cool I picked them out, still good. However, I really think that the staff could benefit from a customer service workshop. Sometimes when employees aren’t aware of the standard they should hold, they have nothing to compare to and it shows. The simple basic human instinct when someone steps into your establishment should be a greeting, a wave, SOMETHING of acknowledgment. The staff doesn’t say hi, is not welcoming at all and today they even just stood and stared for before approaching us to see what we needed. And this isn’t the first time we have been greeted this way. We get it you’re busy multitasking but, pause and just say I’ll be with you in a minute, SOMETHING/ HEAD NOD… It just doesn’t make any sense. I’m going to assume they don’t have the proper tools to succeed or have not been taught cause this is just blasphemy. If I could go to another location and there was one closer to me I would. I’m giving 3 stars because the food is still prompt and good and I like cava and their concept. But my goodness, communicate, that’s the key
Have been a regular for a few years now. We eat Cava at least a few times a month. Most of the time we are in and out quickly- they are very busy so sometimes it’s a bit of a rush with the ordering process. However, lately it has been hit or miss with some of the interactions with some of the employees.Today when we went, one of the workers behind the counter was extremely rude. She quickly pushed my food past her without allowing me to finish speaking/cut me off, didn’t add more than a couple of tomatoes even after asking if she could and kept correcting me for not saying one of the sides correctly. I literally said halved tomatoes instead of the tomatoes with onions, but she became agitated with me after this and short. It wasn’t a pleasant experience and I’m not sure if we will be back again. While the food is great, I’m unsure of the inconsistency with how the customer experience is.
My go to “fast” food place when I visit Columbia Crossing Shopping Center. Everything is fresh. Some of it is local. I highly recommend at least 2 scoops of crazy feta in your bowl.
CAVA is my current favorite place to eat. The plant-based selection is the best in the area and the prices cannot be beat. Not all locations have the white sweet potatoes.
Good food but it's too expensive for fast food. I'd rather go to a restaurant for the same price or a cheaper fast food option in most cases.Costs approximately $12-15 per person after taxes for a bowl (depending on protein selection, don't ask for extra unless you want to pay a $5+ upcharge), you get a smaller portion than chipotle for more money than chipotle. It's an expensive bowl of rice and hummus (or other flavor) with a scoop of protein (vegetables are counted as a protein too).Bowls should start at $8 and charge $2 for extra scoops would be more fair and reasonable. Hummus and rice aren't expensive...
Cava was pretty good. Kind of the Mediterranean inspired flavors and ingredients on the Chipotle concept. I would go back and try a remix to what I ordered (Lentil & Avocado bowl).
