The food presentation was very poor. The furniture was very cheap with boxy tables, not as many comfortable seating. The explanation for the food tasting like a rubber chicken was the cook came out and demanded to know WHAT was wrong with it. I told him. I then didnât want any more confrontations so I went to the hostess and asked her to run my card. She asked why, I said the food AND this whole experience was unsatisfactory! WHO wants to have confrontations? I donât. So if you want a good presentation WHICH should be given that I spent &146 there, presentation of the food should be akin to art and thereâs no reason for sloppy presentation when you are paying for it in THAT price, the seating Should BE comfortable when I am paying those prices, and there should be ZERO angry cooks coming out of the kitchen to demand and then he argued WITH ME. SKIP THIS RESTAURANT BECAUSE ITâS NOT WORTH YOUR AGGRAVATION.
As always, fantastic service from an attentive staff. The food was wonderful.
This has to be one of the worst places Iâve visited in the DMV. The service was awful!! Maybe we had bad service because we are black but we tip heavily for good service. The old white couple sat down after us and was served before us. Our host had no suggestions for food or drinks. Itâs small and old fashioned. McDonalds is more up to date. This place was awful and should be closed down. To our server with the blonde hair, we are black with money so you missed out!
Delicious food and they had many gluten free options which is hard to find in many restaurants.
Another fine meal a Aida Bistro. The outdoor patio was a nice place to eat outside even on a warm evening. The food was enjoyed by both me and my wife. The homemade ice cream was outstanding.
Great outdoor dining venue⦠fully covered for protection from sun and rain.
We were there at 2pm on a Thursday and had the restaurant to ourselves. Server was wonderful, no pressure to order right away. Meatballs and calamari appetizers were excellent. Short rib grilled cheese, salmon BLT, veal marsala over linguine and salmon marsala over linguine were enjoyed by all. Pistachio ice cream for dessert is a must.
You should serve (complimentary) bread with your meals. Your local (Columbia, MD) competition does this and so do Italian restaurants in Washington, D.C. that we visit. I have been to Italy at least a dozen times. A basket of bread is always brought to the table.
This is not our first time at this establishment. Each time we are thoroughly impressed, by the quality of food. The food is seasoned and plated well. The taste is fresh in every bite. A hidden gem for sure!!
Great food and service!
