Great for late night dinner. Unexpectedly, great gyros, fries, and pretty crispy wings. I would give the place a 5 stars, but the music was too loud to dine in.

I’ve been dreaming about a lamb gyro on a pita, some souvlaki, an order of dolmadas and some baklava to satisfy my sweet tooth. Can’t wait till next week when I can get my fix after 9 long months without. Fifty one years in the biz tells you all you need to know??

Phenomenal gyros. Free fountain drink refills. Open to 3am weekend nights. More expensive than when I was in college eating gyros past midnight, but that was last century. Don't pass this by.

The food is really good here and everyone is very warm and friendly EXCEPT for the girl with the short curly hair. My experience with her was gawd awful. She has the nastiest attitude I've ever encountered. She needs to be put in the back somewhere and away from the front talking to people because she almost made a loyal customer never want to come here ever again.

This is one of my favorite places to get Greek food in College Park, Maryland!! The prices are decent and the portions are great, and they stay open late for those of us who are night owls (super convenient because of the large population of local college students)! My favorite thing to order here is the falafel gyro, along with the spanakopita and stuffed grape leaves! They also have delicious desserts such as cheesecake and baklava! Service is always quick, and the vibe is chill. They also deliver which is super convenient!

honestly it’s amazing if you’re under the influence, and just alright if you’re sober LMAO. they rarely put enough marathon sauce on the fries, so sometimes it feels like i paid almost $5 just for some overly salty fries. also the cashier girl (y’all know which one im talking abt) is the rudest employee i’ve ever encountered, and it’s kind of impressive that she hasn’t been fired with the way she treats people. overall, i’d say marathon is more of an experience than a place you’d go for 10/10 consistent food

Sad to say one day I'll be giving this place two stars. My gyro platter tastes/looks entirely different than the bajillion ones I've before and the fries are different too (missing the sauce drizzled on top). The chicken meat is so dry that it is barely edible. Just really sad now I have to say goodbye to a store that was once so glorious.

Everything they say about this place is true! The marathon sauce is amazing! The lamb gyro is pure perfection ..just don't get the chicken gyro, I didn't care for it..seemed a bit dry. Also, ask for fresh fries to be sure there not hard and over cooked. All in all I will definitely be back again.

The Group was excellent. The fries were seasoned well. I would definitely order from Marathon Deli again.

Service is horrible. Definitely missing the old owners. I went there on a Sunday with my kids and service sucked no people skills. We would be the 3 generation going to Marathon deli in College Park. But no desire to return even the food doesn’t taste like it did before. Missing the shoestring fries we used to get with the meal.
