A summer date night with my husband. We had a great experience. We were greeted by the ownerâs son n law who went into detail about how the menu items are cooked to order and freshly prepared. We shared a crab pretzel for an appetizer and it was delicious. I had to try the famous crab cake and it didnât disappoint at all. My husband had the jumbo stuffed shrimp and it was amazing

We were traveling through Baltimore and were trying different Crab Cake restaurants. Pappas was the best! Sam our server was incredible!
Late lunch with a friend on a Friday afternoon. The food was okay. By the way, we did not get the crab cakes. Wanted to try something else. My friend had the shrimp salad sandwich. She described it as just okay. I had a Caesar salad and broiled salmon. The salad was also just okay. The salmon, meh! It was basically flavorless although there was plenty of spice on top of the fish. Service was decent.

First of all, I have been a long time Pappas fan dining in Parkville for many years. Cockeyville is more convenient for me. I made reservations for five people. It was very busy. We were seated in the bar area where it was very noisy. I had difficulty hearing those at my table. Service was very slow, I am sure because they were so busy so that is understandable. Our waitress was attentive and wonderful. I was disappointed in the food, especially the crab cake. Had it been my first at Pappas I would never have come back. The slaw, which I had previously loved tasted bland and uninviting. The sweet potato fries were delicious. I am so sorry my experience was not a good one. I may revisit but not in the near future.
