The food is immaculate. Tasting! Ithe stuff the sandwiches with a good amount of whatever you want. The location is a little rough, as it is easy to ride right past it. The service is cool. They close early, so, you are best to go grab sandwiches for lunch, as that is the only option.
Best BBQ I’ve ever had. Let me tell you EVERY payday i make sure i hit them up for some ribs. Was at a job site 8 minutes away from them for three days and we ate jakes all three days. Jake ( owner ) is super friendly and everybody else treats EVERYONE like family. I love this place wish they could multiply and get one closer to me but for the time being i don’t mind taking the drive
The food here is always excellent!!!! The sandwiches are piled high with tasty beef,turkey or chicken, the beef is offered however you like it, medium,well done you name it and they will pile it on for you!! The Mac and cheese is excellent and you get a great portion!! And the price,,,,,,,,, you clearly get way more then you pay for,,They take your order,they get the order right every time and they hustle to get you in and out fast!! First class customer service i strong urge everyone to stop in and grab some food you won’t be disappointed
You MUST give this place a try if you like the kind of BBQ your grandpa made. Juicy, saucey, fall off the bone ribs. Juicy pulled Pork that is just a little bit spicy. Amazing Mac and Cheese. Authentic and juicy pit beef. Fantastic smoked sliced turkey. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. I've had this a couple times from other folks that let me try it, but this was my first time going there and trying it fresh. It's honestly amazing fresh, and just as good for later.It's easy to find on the side of the road, but parking is limited to maybe 10 or 12 cars. There's limited outdoor seating if you want to eat there. Everyone working is incredibly welcoming and friendly. How can you not be when the smokers out front are fired up and you're smelling that delicious all day long?Highly encourage you to give it a try. About a 20 minute drive north of Baltimore.
Just ate the best pit beef sandwich in years! It was a very, very generous portion of meat. I’m a smaller woman, and all this beef will make two meals for me, for $9. They were friendly and helpful as I was unsure where to order and then wait. They’ll be seeing more of me for sure!
Amazing gem! First time here and the staff made me feel as if I knew them forever. Amazing customer service. And the delicious food is the cherry on top. So glad I found this place. I would definitely return!
This is the proverbial roadside shack out in the woods, the meats being tended on grills alongside the parking lot. There is the odd picnic table outside, and a few aging tables inside. Go left when you enter the door, and shout out your order when one of the meat bosses in the kitchen notices you. Load up your order with the condiments of your choice (including hefty slices of fresh tomato), pay the lady at the register, and off you go. This is BBQ! We opted for a mammoth pit beef sandwich, which we slathered with the house sauce, as well as two equally huge sausages that came on buns and decked out with fried onions and green peppers. Sides of coleslaw and mac 'n cheese, and a diet coke, completed the order. Both sides were traditional bites, but the sausages offered both great flavor and a subtle kick, while the medium rare pit beef combined a traditional flavor profile with good smoke. The price point here was exceptional. $19.60 plus tax purchased enough food for two very good meals. You will want to give Jake's a try.
Well I like to say a few thing about this place just .. finger licking good. Ribs pit beef .. I have tried it all close to a house I was working at this year it my go to spot even if I have a packed lunch

As soon as you pull up to this place you know it's going to be good. When we walked in the door we were greeted with a Hardy how's it going! The food was outstanding and very big portions. The cost was very reasonable for what you get. Can't wait to go back
