This was my second visit to this restaurant in the last 5 years. Ordered sushi and general tso's chicken. Food is decent. Even though the rice was quite dry. Reasonably priced. Very average service.Yamato Sushi restaurant in Timonium is a better choice for Sushi and also for better service.

Disappointment would be an understatement about our experience last night at Fusion restaurant in Cockeysville. We’ve been going here for years and quite candidly I’ve never had a bad experience or a bad meal. And now last night! Starting with a positive attitude the tuna tacos were really good. The tuna quantity was less than previous but you can either be a gourmet or a Gourmand! After the tacos everything else was down hill. The miso soup tasted like aquarium water. Salty with some sort of a fish sauce flavor. We ordered sushi rolls that tasted like they were coming from three day old fish. And finally ordered sesame chicken which came over cooked and cold. We returned the sesame chicken which is more than I can say for what we will be doing. We will not be returning. Don’t know what happened to this place but what a disappointment.

Unprofessional, unfriendly service, sticky tables & dishes.Low quality sushi...hard, old, dry rice with questionable fish on a top, can not be called sushi! Asked for an extra ginger........got twice less instead with no wasabi (was told , that is enough) :-((( The taste & smell of Mongolian beef, will help to anyone , make QUICK choice to become vegetarian ;-))) The gas station sushi, will be safer!

The food was very good. We started with sushi, dumplings, and crab Wonton. Every start was delectable! Each of the adults in our party ordered a different type of Asian entree (Kirean, Chinese, Thai, and Japanese.) I tasted them all. Everything was delicious. The kids got chicken tenders and fries. The fries were the best fries I've ever had. I wish i lived closer to this restaurant, I 'd be going there every week!

Stopped in for a quick bite on a Thursday at 7pm. It was busy! But I immediately could tell they had an efficient system in place. I sat at the sushi bar and was immediately served by Judy, who is fantastic. I had a sushi roll and shrimp pad Thai. Both came out quickly and were well-presented, tasty, and plentiful. The decor was neutral and kind of generic. I was in and out quickly and I really enjoyed it. Now I know why they're so busy!

I've always had a great experience here, whether eating in or carrying out. Signature tools have always been fresh and tasty. Service is always friendly and I've never had much of a wait regardless of how busy they are.

Sushi clearly not very fresh and stayed too long in a freezer to where the middle of the sashimi was still thawing and left a shockingly bad aftertaste. Way overpriced for the value delivered. Severely understaffed so long dine-in times, and fairly awkward at giving menus, taking orders. Maybe the cooked parts of the menu are better but even the nearby wegmans has better quality sushi unfortunately.

Fusion is the best spot for sushi in Northern Baltimore County. My favorite dishes here are the tuna tacos (a must) and the crispy eggplant. I typically skip the special rolls since they're expensive (~$14+) and instead go for sashimi or nigiri, but some of the basic rolls (~$6) are good too. The sushi roll menu is massive and I wish it were in alphabetical order (this might sound nit-picky but it's so hard to make a list of rolls with friends when you can't find anything!). Also, like other reviewers have mentioned, sometimes the sushi is lukewarm - I think they don't always fully chill the sushi rice as they make it fresh and it ends up warming up the fish, especially with takeout. It's unpleasant but not a dealbreaker and can be avoided if you just order the sashimi.I don't order from the bar because the cocktail menu IMO is strange, expensive, and watered down, but I do like the sakes and the draft beer selection. I agree with other reviewers that the whole place needs some TLC - there are marks on the booths and walls and the bathrooms really need an upgrade (shoutout to the weird couch). I love the Christmas lights outside and being able to sit out there under the heaters during COVID (please bring this back even though it's cold outside!).Finally, the staff does not waste a second seating you or getting you your food. They have amazing and efficient servers and kitchen staff. It feels like there is never a wait for food, even when they're slammed. However, this comes at a cost - it always feels like they want to turn the table over and get you out of there as fast as possible, which feels a little awkward.Overall, I love Fusion and will keep coming back, weird bathroom stall couch and all.

This place is without equal it is truly the best sushi and Tai-ish prepared food in town, all their locations.

horrible food and owner. stay away. bad service. bad food, no atmosphere. rude manager. threatening.
