Excellent service and best crabs in town!
We pre-ordered a dozen XL crabs, and they were wonderful! Large, heavy, hot and well-spiced (not too spicy or salty - just right!). A little pricey ($120), but worth it for an occasional splurge.
I’m here on business and was looking for good seafood! Captain Trey’s is IT!!! Omg! Delish!!!I used to live in the area and miss MD seafood so much! Wish I could give it MORE ⭐️ STARS!Definitely come by - it’s the best!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Excellent crabs!I ordered two dozen crabs for New Years. This was the first time I ever ordered crabs so late in the year, so I wasn’t expecting much, just looking to rekindle a taste of summer. What a pleasant surprise! Every crab was quality, both in size and weight! Really exceeded my expectations— a rare occurrence in the land of the Blue Crab!I should have written a favorable review long before now, but this experience was too good to go without recognition!Every time I have ordered crabs from Captain Treys they have been available at the promised time! They are always fresh and well seasoned. The staff is friendly and efficient. I highly recommend steamed crabs from Captain Treys!
Excellent crabs! I got two dozen crabs for New Years for the first time in my 71 year existence, not expecting much at this time of the year, but just wanting to rekindle the taste of summer! What a great surprise! Every crab was quality- both size and weight! Most seemed to be about a size larger than I had ordered, an unlikely surprise in the land of the blue crab! I probably should have written a favorable review long before now, but this time it was unavoidable! Every time I have ordered crabs from Captain Treys they have been hot and ready to go when I arrived! Staff is always a pleasure to deal with- efficient and friendly! Pricing is always seems to meet or beat the competition. I highly recommend the steamed crabs from Captain Treys!
Ordered a half dozen of the females and they all were watery and had a strange taste it was all of them I crack them open tasted them all and the all seemed old. Very shocking being as though I come here a lot this was a very bad batch
Here the thing. Excellent quality. I have been many times over the last 15 years.But one person tends to have an attitude, beyond anyone else in the place. Yup, the Capt.Trey, seriously, you alone have consistently had such a poor customer oriented attitude, it amazes me.Your staff, carry you and your establishment. They have been pleasant, communicative, helpful. You on the other hand come as close to KAREN as possible.Relax. Really. I'd spend more of my money if it wasn't for you.Everyone else, go for the seafood. High quality, fresh, reasonable prices.
I live in PA but my Daughter's family lives in Northern Baltimore County and I LOVE Captain Trey's crab cakes, both their Jumbo Lump and their Backfin. These are the Best Crab Cakes I had ever had since Thompson's of Towson closed years ago, theirs were THE BEST EVER, but Captain Trey's come very close in quality. Ordered seven Jumbo Lump, four Backfin and two pounds of Jumbo Steamed Shrimp. Some to eat at my Daughter's an some to bring home, all of the crab cakes were raw crab cakes. They are a bit expensive; however, NOT for the quality, You would pay three times the price at a fine dining restaurant, perhaps more for the same quality. Great seafood, just wish it was closer to home, but STILL WORTH THE TRIP! I am making some of the Jumbo Lump crab cakes I brought home for dinner tonight, can't wait! On a side note my oldest Granddaughter goes to school with Captain Trey's Daughter.
Got medium steamed crabs tonight and they were absolutely phenomenal. Seasoned perfectly. Mostly all were heavy, only have a couple light ones out of the 2 dozen we got. 10/10 would recommend. Prices weren’t terrible either.
Seafood establishments these days have a lot of processed seafood that is overly seasoned and lacking in quality. This place has fresh seafood with no filler. The seafood medley has a little of everything and the crabcake is amazing.
