Wife and I order from here every now and then and it never disappoints. We've tried other local places and have been very disappointed though. After just getting Pho a few times we ventured out and tried some other meals. The Lemongrass Stir Fry is so delicious!. One thing that threw us off though, was "Houston Wings". We saw another person get them and got super excited about them. So we ordered some and were confused. "Is this a typo? Do they mean Hoisin Wings?" Come to find out, it's a very specific style of wing sauce thats popular in China Town in Houston, TX. There's even a Master Chef winner, from Houston, that is known for them. They are delicious!!! I throw in an order with our Pho all the time.
Food not as good as i remember. I called to tell them there is something wrong with the tendons but no one cared. The tendon tasted really weird and soapy. Not going back again. Price went up 2$ in 2 months. Not worth going. Pho saigon is right down the road. Try their pho first.
My favorite Pho for many years now. Great tasting broth, generous meat slices and garnishes, courteous servers, nice atmosphere
Food is always excellent but only 2 stars because the server never covers his nose with his mask. I will not be returning until after the pandemic.
Does this place live up to its name? I don't know if it's #1, but it is certainly one of the best in an area spoiled for Vietnamese eats. The pho ga was sublime and the bun had herbs you don't normally find in other Pho places. The only little glitch is that the bun I ordered was supposed to be paired with Vietnamese ham. What came out was a bowl of marinated pork strips, delicious but not what was listed. Terrific, friendly wait staff.
The chicken pho broth is delicate and subtle, not too salty as many are. There are a variety of leafy greens provided as well.
The Resturant is bad in general the bathrooms are not clean at all, the soup had very little flavor and they had horrible service, especially the waiters.
The food was ok. Ordered bbq pork chop with rice and came with so little pork chop meat. I know it’s the pandemic and prices have been increasing but it’s crazy to pay $20 including tips and be served such little meat. They do give a lot of rice to make you feel full ??♂️
Accessible, with an accessible bathroom. The front doors are a little heavy so take your time. I've been coming here for years. It's reasonably priced with big portions, always delicious and fresh. The place is always clean and it's Covid-compliant. Staff are some of my favourite people to see, I've enjoyed getting to know them over the years.
Besides the pho, I enjoyed the fried squid too!
