First visit to the small one-off, they're always better than chain. All very good tasty meals, four total. Very good guacamole dip and chips and salsa. Worth a return trip

Great little restaurant! Food was tasty and authentic, low key and relaxed atmosphere. We got guacamole, both got enchiladas and al pastor tacos. All were fast and delicious.

I love mexican food and this restaurant hits the spot with everything! We tried enchiladas, tacos and tamales. Everything was lovely. Chicken was cooked to perfection packed a punch of flavour which is very important. I’ve probably tried a 100 places for tacos and this place ranks in the top 3.Did I mention the chips and salsa were amazing? Freshly made too and so were the margaritas!Must try, ample parking, great staff!

I've been visiting El Agave for many years and I've always loved the food and service. The drinks are A1. Be sure to tip well because your servers will deserve it. Prices are very reasonable.

The drinks were awesome. The food was okay.I really didn't care for the rice that came with the Texas platter. But I would, definitely give the experience and 8.

Good Mexican food!! Great service.

One of my favorite places to eat. Best Mexican food in Baltimore hands down. I'm from California so I'm very picky about my Mexican food lol. Authentic and very tasty. Everything I've tasted has been great. Great service as well

The Good:We were seated immediately and the waitress was pleasant. My wife and I were immediately given delicious chips and salsa and asked what we wanted to drink. The atmosphere was nice. The waitress was attentive and efficient, and the food was delicious. The agave nachos, were honestly my favorite part. The Bad:Now, the reason why I did not give this place 5 stars is because the food was just warmish. It was weird. It kind of felt like the food was cooked and then just left out to cool for some reason. My wife complained of the same thing. The Judgment:Ultimately, I would definitely come back here. The food was delicious (though it needs to be served hot), the service was great, and the atmosphere was nice.

This place opened the same year I moved here and it has been wonderful. Staff are friendly, attentive and overall helpful to each other which is unusual these days. Food is great. salsa is spicy and I haven't found anything on the menu that I do not like it. Their al pastor tacos are amazing.

Second time here and I’m afraid this is going to become a habit ?. This time I got the quesadilla which my daughter loved and ? ?. If I had to rank the ? ? it would be barbacoa (perfect), chorizo, 7/10 then Al pastore 5/10 & (a bit chewy). The service at the bar was very good as was the drink I had while I was waiting for my order. El Agave is definitely a place worth frequenting?
