We have stopped here every time we go from GA to NJ for the last 13 years. The addition of this Grille was fantastic and the food and service is excellent. No need to go out when you have a lounge and great food right at the hotel.

Our union members have met in a private room at Chessie’s for several months. It’s the room where breakfast is served. The food was good (especially the crab chowder) and Vickie Hann always took great care of our group of 12-14 (She’s a keeper)! But, new management now requires a $100 deposit and one check instead of split checks. The restaurant is usually close to empty when we met on the fourth Tuesday of each. Unfortunately, tonight was our last meeting there. We voted to move our meetings b/c not everyone carries cash and there is no ATM in the hotel. Such a shame. Why lose $200-$300 from us in a nearly empty restaurant? Maybe we should have just sat at a big table instead of the side room, but the new rules pushed us away.
We needed a bite to eat and chose a crab cake and onion rings. The were tasty but my wife was up much of the night with heartburn. GREASY. And maybe old grease too. Mistake.
We had a nice dinner here - husband had salmon and I had crab cakes. The salmon was a tad heavy on the sauce and the crab cakes were good (not great but certainly good). The staff was wonderful as was the service. It's a great fit for dinner after a long day in the car.
