The Manager…The five stars are specifically for the manager, Chris I believe is his name. I have been eating at The Olive Garden my entire life, so I pretty much know what my food is should taste like. lol. I understand it can’t be perfect all the time and due to that thought process, I have chosen to complain only twice. Both times Chris has been extremely courteous while protecting the brand (because i know they left my food out lol) and has never shown anything less than a managerial level of professionalism. Give that man a raise please.
Service was nice, place was clean, and drinks were surprisingly tastefully.
One of my favorite locations. Not usually overcrowded, and friendly service. Went to celebrate a family birthday recently and ordered a margarita. It came with orange juice (I'm allergic), so I asked for one without and was told ALL their margaritas have orange juice? I've hade them without it here before (just take it out). I didn't get to drink, but otherwise a pleasant meal.
Service was very unorganized. I understand that on major holidays most restaurants are busy so things get backed up, that's not my issue. It was the clear lack of organization and communication. However, the food will definitely keep me coming back I just wish it didn't take an EXTRA 45 minutes to pick up an order after it took an hour to prepare.
The dining experience was just ok. Not a spectacular one. I did enjoy my Tour of Italy but the sauce on the Lasagna was a bit salty. However, I would order it again.
Yes,we went into Bowie Olive Garden got that soup and salad. Peach Tea, coke soda. Everything was good. A couple of people were in an accident outside in the parking lot. Found out the metro police ran into the old man as him and his wife were leaving a parking space right in front of him? That was interesting!! Why you driving looking back that long and run into someone else??? Ouch!✌
All around horrible service Hostesses ignored people waiting to get a table because they were either hugging other employees or on their phones. Waitress, forgot about two of orders and tried to ask us if we were done before the other orders came out. Waitress did not come back to replenish bread sticks, water or ask if we wanted more soup. Spoke to the manager and he blamed it on COVID.
Over all I had a great Togo experience. I stared with the lunch special fettuccine Alfredo with a salad, and had calamari on the side. The employees were very friendly and provided me good service. The food was great. I had to wait about 15 minutes which wasn’t bad. I wolfed the Alfredo with one bread stick and a a couple pieces of calamari and had to save the rest.
I got the tour of italy. Alfredo is a bit too heavy / thick for me. Soup is meh. The kids loved their spaghetti and chicken tenders. I still prefer bella Italia in Arnold.
Waiter ( Chris ) was exceptional. I didn't even have to ask for more drinks and he already had them coming to the table. Also put up with my senior company very well (( more napkins, water with lemon wedges on the side, not in the water )). Overall lovely meal. Chris will put cheese on anything, just ask him
