I spent over $62 on some bad food from there. Two goat dishes with jellof rice, plantain, spinach and fish pepper soup. The goat meat didn't taste like goat..tasted like pork or some spoiled meat and the rice had a burn taste to it. So I had to trash the whole thing. Zero (0) star if I could cause I ordered the food online and when I showed up it wasn't ready.
First time here and it did not disappoint! Ordered jollof rice w/chicken and plantains! Absolutely loved it!
KOF has the best African cuisine in the dmv. I strongly recommend.
The first time I ordered from here the steam fish was good and now my second time it was a disaster, Egusi with chicken was not all that great. The chicken was too hard and the soup was tasteless. The steam fish wasn’t cooked all the way and I placed it in the oven to cook it some more. I don’t think this establishment like first timers.
I like how they made the asun. It tastes so good and fresh. Their vegetable soup was great as well.
