I ordered a shrimp lo mein I was very disappointed the noodles were over cooked and dry. the shrimp wasn’t deveined I was pulling the vein out. The shrimp was tiny . I counted 4 tiny shrimp and it was bland. I will never go back .
Food is just awful!!!! The shrimp egg foo young so nasty tasting and has clumps of whitish mushy stuff in it, the gravy is just awful, the fried rice has unpleasant smell and taste so awful. Never ever again!
I craved fried rice.Chicken fried rice is a default comparison sample.Their chicken fried rice tastes excellent.I am from the south, so I am used to getting a bigger portion for the money.This is MD. I haven't seen such a thing here yet where the rice actually tastes good. For that reason, four stars.
I don’t know if they got a new cook or new people after covid but the shrimp fried rice is very bland. It’s almost as if they just steam yellow rice and just call it shrimp fried rice. This used to be my favorite Chinese restaurant in the area and this is the second time the fried rice has been trash. And the boy working the counter had poor customer service skills as well. He played his game on his phone as I tried to tell him my order, very rude.
I am disappointed in this restaurant. They must have a different cook because prior to COVID I never had such poor food quality. The Pepper Chicken was unimpressive and the sauce was basically gel. The chicken was, also, chewy like the Lo Mien I paid extra for. That was drowned in sauce to try to mask the chewiness. I am guessing I didn’t get a fresh noodle dish. It’s sad really because they were pretty good in 2018 and 2019. I’d go elsewhere.
The food just didn't have any favor like an seasoning. The PuPu platter was just sad everything tasted the same and that was just grease. The wanton was like warm water with large thick tasteless noodles floating in it. Lo mein is just greasy too and sesame chicken is just tough with no taste. Frist and last time I order from here.
Food here is pretty good. Typical Chinese fare. It is not very expensive. We got alot of food for a low price. I recommend the beef in garlic sauce and chicken wings.
Very nice Christmas dinner. Always pleased with the food and fast friendly service.
I’ve had hit or miss experiences with East Delight, today was a huge miss. My food came late and the general tso’s shrimp I got was blah; they used pancake batter on the shrimp, PANCAKE BATTER. I cook all the time - been doing it since I was 5 - I know what pancake batter taste like. The coating on the shrimp fell off every time I picked a piece up with my fork. The onions in the fried rice are cut way to big. It’s not just the fried rice, I’ve ordered sandwiches with onions from them and those were too big and I love onions but not like that.Overall, I was not pleased.
All I can say is, never again. I see reviews are okay, but my family and I ordered food from this place and I honestly feel like they clearly didn't care about what they sent out their door. No need to call with a complaint because I'm sure it won't be acknowledged, so I'll just leave this right here. Save your money and go somewhere else.
