When it comes to Reubens, I have refined tastes (read: I’m picky). Many places have terrible dressing, the wrong cheese, or skimp on the corned beef. By the way, if it’s not corned beef, it’s a Rachel. Chesapeake knew the difference so I knew they had promise. This sandwich was amazing! There was no part of it that disappointed me! Even the fresh rye bread with caraway seeds tasted like New York.I’ll definitely be back!

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, great dessert. We’ve been looking for a place to get brunch along route 50 to the Beaches ever since Jimmy’s Grille in Bridgeville, DE closed. This is the best place we have found so far.

One of the best resturaunts in the crofton/bowie area. Consistently great food and quick, friendly service. I love the rockfish and chips. Highly recommend!

Really cool place. Sort of like a nice hole in the wall. Best crab soup ever with lots of crab chunks in creamy broth. Crab dip is also nice. Hush puppies good and crunchy, a little sweet, come with honey for dipping. Just had crab, but the deli sandwiches looked good as well. We have eaten here twice and are going back tonight.

This eatery has been a consistent go to for years, when I'm craving certain dishes. You have to experience it, to appreciate the quality. The menu hasn't changed much, over the years, but this is what makes this place work! The saying goes, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." The portions are generous and most of the menu items are staples for many people who have eaten here over the years; which keeps people, like me, coming back.A few of my personal favorite "go to's" are the fried string beans, the crab flatbread pizza and one my all time favorites, as far as salads go, the Chessie salad. This salad is definitely more of a personal preference type experience, but is hands-down a great vegetarian option. I typically get it as a stand alone meal, it's huge.Don't take my word for it though, definitely experience this local favorite on your own.

Cashier couldn’t answer questions or take my order correctly. I asked for the rockfish and an extra order of coleslaw. Looking at the receipt I noticed it looked like it replaced the fries with coleslaw, but she assured me the rockfish usually comes with 2 sides.I get home and I’ve only got some overcooked rockfish and coleslaw. No fries.Oh, and I just realized there’s no tartar sauce, lemon slice, or utensils either. Thankfully I’m eating this at home so I can make my own tartar sauce.

We've ordered from here many times and everything has been great. However, my last two visits are having me rethinking going back. The first time, they didn't include the side dish with the order. No big deal, but I didn't discover it until I got home and I wasn't going to drive back. They refunded me the money, but I was more aggravated that no one at the restaurant made sure the order was correct when they packaged it up. The past visit was worse. There was no one bringing orders out to the cars. So, after watching a few people go in and come out with their food, I turned off my engine and went inside. I gave the girl at the counter my name and she hands me my food. Right away something didn't seem right. Sure enough, they left out my salad and my two cream of crab soups. Once again, who packaged the order and checked it? So, I had to wait while they heated up two soups and made my salad. The food is still very good, but the level of service is not up to par.

Umami -- it's not a made-up word! It's one of the five staple tastes along with sweet, sour, bitter, and salty. Though it's hard to put into words, you'll understand when you take a bite of your sandwich.

This place wasn’t too bad. It was located right in front of the planet fitness, so after my workout I stopped by and grabbed the crab dip bruschetta, which was amazing. The bread was baked to perfection and loaded with crab meat. I also had the buffalo rock fish bites, those were good as well. I didn’t like pool of grease under them but I try to look past that. The customer service was not the best but I took it with a grain of salt.

Food was okay. Fish tacos good and fried rockfish a bit overdone but okay. Cole slaw not crisp and seemed old. Rice pilaf had too much garlic and also leftover flavor. Despite the sign telling customers to wear mask covering nose and mouth, the cooks and one staff member did not comply.
