We were seated at a table with menu. It was about 10 minutes before are server came to take are order we placed are drink first then are food. Then we sat another 10 minutes then are food came out first and had to ask about are drinks. Are waitress goes oh sorry I forgot. Said she would get them right away. We waited about another 10 to 15 minutes for them a simple cup of coffee and sweet tea. My wife's food was fine but small serving as mine. My steak was over cooked I asked for med rare and I was given med well. My wife and I were already have way done eating are meal by the time we got are drinks. This is the worst out I have ever had here. And I have been comeing here for years. I hope it will be better my next visit but it will be some time till then.
Something has changed with this particular location. Please be careful when ordering carry out because lately they have been doing a poor job ensuring that all items are in the bag. Also, they have become very stingy with the portions. I received a half of a scoop of mashed potatoes and two tablespoons of green beans and my rolls were missing.This happened two consecutive times and when I called to complain I was told this was due to Covid. Really?? In 2022? The manager took my name and said when I come in the next time I would get a free meal. I went in two weeks later they had no record of my name or me getting a free meal, so I paid and got home had no bread. When I called to speak to the manager, she came to the phone and I told her the issue and she put me on hold for twenty minutes. I hung up and called back and was put on hold another 15 and she never came back to the phone. I only patronize this place because my 86 year old father likes their food. Something has definitely changed with in the past few months. Before these incidents happened, I would have given them 4 stars.
I met my sister and niece's for breakfast. The service was great and food was good. I ordered a Western Omlette with home fries and apple juice. Both my niece's ordered the French toast meal which my teenage son loves as well. You can never go wrong with Bob Evan's.
The food was excellent, the service was good. The restaurant could have been cleaner. The soft drinks are served in a small mason jar without a handle, it is heavy and awkward to hold.
I haven't been here since the pandemic so we thought it would be good to get out. Not a lot of people present and everything was good until our waitress showed up. My only description of the waitress is "Hot Mess!" She looked like she just woke up, possibly on something other than over the counter medicine ?, and had no mask on. My wife had hair in her coffee and had to send it back. My tea wasn't hot enough to melt my sugar. Everyone else had on a mask but the one that served us. I will return again but hope my experience is betyer than this one.
The first steak was over cooked and a completely different steak... the Mac n cheese was cold... They brought me back warm Mac n cheese and this raw steak which at first didn't even have the mushrooms and onions on it, they had to take it back and put it on before I cut into it . ?
They open at 7 or 7 30am every time I have been here their bathrooms are disgusting toliets are not cleaned . I don't know if they don't clean at night and wait til the next day but obviously they not cleaning in the morning either.I told the waitress today March 1, 2022 a short female long black hair that I'm going to go because I have to use the rest room and can't because the bathroom is not clean she just said okay didn't offer to clean it or anything then went over to the black female that's behind the register told her and she laughed . Sonwhatbtypenof employees are yall hiring where it's okay to lose a customer then laugh about it because you to trifling to clean the restrooms and these are the same restrooms that the employees use and then come serve people food.This why this bob evans is not a 4 or 5 star restaurant.
I grew up on Bob Evans in Ohio, and it was just as delicious as ever. Love the consistency, healthy portions, and reasonable prices. Our wonderful waitress, Sarah, was very attentive and kept the coffee and cappuccino flowing. We dined INSIDE for the 1st time in 2 years and felt safe.
Haven’t ate tasteful Bob Evans in a while, the sausage have a honey glaze taste you are sure to remember! Food and customer service were excellent as always!!!! Enjoyed myself and meal the fullest. I’ll be back for certain…
