Very pleasant experience!
Great food. Service is sloooowwwww. They didn't bring any bread and I had to ask for water after we sat for 20 minutes.
Very nice place to relax. Service and food outstanding.
I was so excited when I found out that Terrain had additional locations! Attending late on Sunday and found the location to be not as lovely as the PA flagship Terrain. However, the look and decor was consistent with the brand. The service, while very nice, was not very good. We had a few instances with incorrect food, missing items, and one scenario where we asked to cancel soup that was not delivered as an appetizer before the main mealâthe server said she would remove it and cancel it out. Then it was delivered about 10 minutes into our meal. I ordered the truffle fries and they were delivered without the truffle topping. Thankfully, I knew what it looked like from prior visits at the other location and said something. If I hadnât, I would have been charged the additional cost for something I didnât receive. Additionally, the server would go quite long between checking on us. If it had been busy, I would have understood but there was only one other table eating. We were sat near the very loud kitchen that doesnât have a door. It did tend to take away from the ambience of the dining experience. Finally, the bathroom was quite dirty when I visited it. There was toilet paper all over the floor and the toilet paper dispenser was empty. I know it was later for service on a Sunday, but it would be a good idea to occasionally check to make sure that the bathroom is clean considering there are only 2 to use by all customers. While the food was very good, I would pick the PA location over this one for sure. Unfortunate, since the DC location is much closer to me, but the other location is worth the longer drive to PA because itâs a magical experience.
This is my second time at this restaurant and I must say this was a wonderful experience. The dish I came to enjoy was not available and the manager made alternative recommendations. I ended up getting the shrimp and grits that was a twist on the traditional - it was delicious. We were able to get a table outside to enjoy the beautiful weather. The manager made every effort to make our visit pleasurable along with our server. It was my boyfriends first time here and he said he wanted to return. He enjoyed his food and service as well. I will definitely return. Fingers crossed the Root Vegetable bowl will be available, but now I have a tasty alternative with the shrimp and grits.
Service was pleasant but very slow. Food took a long time to come out while nearby tables got orders. Food was ok.
It was a regular family lunch and our first time. Food was very good. Quality of ingredients were ok. We ordered some sandwiches that were supposed to have burratta cheese and they didnât have it so they told us they had mozzarella instead. Since we didnât know the origin flavor they just could deliver anything and it will be good. So theyâre honest. Service was ok also. Will come again.
The Burger was good, but the Turkey Sandwich (well-composed with nicely toasted sourdough bread) was waaayy to salty. Having the side salad and Burrata (which was originally left out by accident) still could not offset the extremely salty smoked turkey.
No wonder it is hard to get a table for Sunday brunch without a reservation. I particularly like the environment and friendly service. The staff makes you feel very comfortable. The food has quite innovative choose of ingredients. The Eggs Benedict has cauliflower and hot pepper, the spicy makes it quite interesting. None of the foods were salty, which I like very much.
We are new in town and didnât quite understand it was part of a store. We were warmly received and seated. Had a simple lunch and an alcohol free drink and macaroons for anniversary desert.
