You've gotta try this mint cookies and cream. It's amazing. Top flavor I've had anywhere. The secret? I love ice cream and can't have any dairy... So, I am usually limited these days to a couple flavors and sorbet. This one is Vegan and would beat out all flavors. I just had a sample while planning to get something else and was blown away.
Good ice cream, lots of flavors and polite staff. Quality of ingredients does equate to prices on the higher side. Pup cups for four legged friends are a nice treat for them. Location in this strip mall offers plenty of parking and choices for food also. There is some outdoor seating outside and even some adjacent. Other seating might belong to another shop but if not busy have not seen anyone asked to move.
Best ice cream in DC area! Love the high-quality flavors. Favorites are Coffee Oreo and Bailey’s & Chips - they use so much Bailey’s in it that the alcohol means it doesn’t freeze solid. Creative seasonal flavors are delicious - esp. cherry cobbler ice cream and mojito lime.Friendly neighborhood vibe. Servers are kind to my kids and very knowledgeable about the flavors. Can’t help but smile when I’m at Sarah’s!
This is the type of place where you feel like you are in ice cream heaven. So many unique and interesting combinations packed with flavors that you wish you could bottle!
So many good things to say about this place! I live in New York, and I stopped by this store when visiting the area. I’ve been to a lot of famous ice cream shops in NYC, but I think I have a new favorite! There are so many flavors to choose, ranging from classical to experimental flavors. If you like ice cream, you’ll definitely find something you like. I had a lot of questions and the staff there were so kind and helpful. My husband and I ended up getting the 6-flavor sampler, and every one of them was different but so DELISH! We tried Caramel Cinnamon Apple, Earl Grey, Lemon Poppyseed, Coffee Oreo, Mint Choco, and Tiramisu. I think the names are really intuitive, and you get what you think you are ordering. Caramel Cinnamon Apple was my favorite. To me, it tasted so special and unique. By each bite, you can tell they are super generous with their ingredients. I’ve tried many brands where you don’t get a lot of choco-chips in a Choco Mint or no Oreos in Cookies n Cream. Not the case here. Every spoonful, you get plenty of the key ingredients like you would want. I usually can’t eat a ton of ice cream in one sitting because I don’t like the aftertaste. But, most of the ice cream I tried here left me with a clean, pleasant feel. I definitely ended up having more than I planned. I even came back later that day to get four pints to bring home haha. Anyway, I hope you can see how hyped I’m about the ice cream here. I wish they had a New York branch.
The best ice cream in the area! I am pretty picky when it comes to desserts and ice cream but I keep coming back to Sarah’s and that says it all. I am so glad they opened second one at this location. Every flavor is delicious but my favorite so far is Coffee Oreo.
I cannot recommend Sarah’s handmade enough. First and foremost, their ice cream and treats are OFF THE CHAIN. Quality product is of the utmost importance. But it’s the little things that adds value to this brand. Friendly quality customer service, and commitment to the community and people. A good hearted, family owned shop that Cares. 10/10 would HIGHLY recommend
Oh man one of my favorite places to get a scoop no matter the season! I love the varieties that always keep me coming back! The staff member was amazing with their service as well! I highly recommend anyone to grab a scoop or two when you get the chance. ???? thinking about it right now hahah I love it that much !

I love this local ice cream shop. Its ice cream has deep and fresh flavors. There are diverse options of tastes, and, especially, lavender, vanilla, and strawberry are so awesome.
