This place is the best! My family and I live in the area and have gone countless times. A great improvement from the old Wow Cow that occupied the space before. The ice cream is to die for! So many different mouth watering flavors (one of my personal favorite being the lemon poppy seed). We have also had great experiences during the pandemic with the online ordering and all the staff are always so sweet. 10/10 would definitely recommend!!
Love! Love! Love! If I could, I'd have a scoop of Sarah's ice cream everyday! My niece and I wanted to try a bunch of flavors and opted for the flight. 6 kiddie scoops of ice cream and it was more than enough for us to share!The tea flavored ones were our favorites, but they were all delicious. Each flavor was distinct. Creamy. Those with fruit or nuts had a lot packed in.I need to go back again soon to try not flavors but to also purchase pints to bring home!
This is truly the best ice cream. So many different flavors. The tasting lights are great fun (and delicious). And the people who work at both locations are terrific!
My favorite flavor at Sarah’s Handmade ice cream would be Earl Grey Speculoos. It is a delicious combination of ice cream and Earl Grey, making a must-try treat that is absolutely divine. I would totally recommend this as a place for anyone of all ages to go get ice cream. Even after moving here for 5 years, it's still my family's favorite place and is busy especially after school, but is also a great treat.I love trying out their different flavors and they're all amazing. Incredibly unique and interesting. All have just the right amount of sweetness and there are great portion sizes. The staff is incredibly helpful and generous every time. It's definitely a must try, you won't regret it!
If you ever have to choose between Sarah's and anywhere else, choose Sarah's. The flavors are wonderful and Sarah is one of the sweetest, most amazing women in the world. Sarah is as sweet as her ice cream, and if I could, I would give her a million stars. She has dairy free, and nut free flavors, and all of them are delicious! It's cheap, but it should cost more than it does. When you taste Sarah's ice cream, you know it's made with love, and it's the food of kings.
I'm a bit ticked, to be honest. If I'm not allowed to get my pint from the freezer, the LEAST your employees can do is actually give me the flavor I ask for. If I'd wanted Cherry Blossom Festival I would've asked for it...if I drop $24 on ice cream it would be nice to receive the flavor I ask for.EDIT: AAAAAND instead of an apology, I get a passive aggressive response. Brilliant strategy. I obviously bought more than a pint, we got cones as well. So I'm changing the 2 stars to 1 and we won't give you more business in the future.
Great ice cream! Very creamy and not too sweet but with the perfect flavoring. All five people in my family were very happy - even my pup loved the pup cup. Thank you for being in our community.
I saw a post on Facebook about the February flavors and decided to stop in! It was just an okay experience.I tried the Bethesda Brownie Brickle and I'll be honest, I felt like it didn't have much taste to it. The sweetness levels were good, it wasn't overly sweet at all and I liked that, but it just didn't have a big flavor. If I had to guess the flavor, I'd have said "sweet milk" or "Vanilla with brownie". It certainly wasn't bad, just not what I expected. I think I'm going to have to go try a few more flavors before I can really pass a solid judgement here (oh no! Not more ice cream!).They're doing construction on the outside of the building, but that's understandable! You can still easily get to the place and get in. There's two outside benches in front of the place you can sit on and eat. The shop front was small but clean, if a little cluttered. The long cases displayed the ice cream and it was awesome to see all of the flavors. The cashier who also grabbed my ice cream was polite and courteous. Overall, I think I'd like to try more flavors! I'll update my review when I do.
Hands down the best ice cream! I and my friends each got one ice cream cone at first but had to get another flight to try more of their flavors and everything was delicious. I can definitely tell they put so much thoughts and love into them. Just right amount of sugar and cream with kick of flavors added up to this delightful experience. Coffee Oreo is a must! On top of that, their customer service is such a pleasure. I am glad I stopped by and you will be glad as well.
