Medium Rare was amazing as always. It never disappoints.
Little to no customer service from the staff-specifically the waiter(a). Also, food not as good as expected.
They do one thing and one thing well. Love the salade, steak, and frites! The special sauce is amazing. Happy they brought back the original carrot cake. Service was a bit slow but likely due to ubiquitous labor issues.
The server was a very nice person but he was not trained. He spilled water all over the table, almost hit one of us with the plate and did not even realize it, was serving across the table. The food was ok. I think that the quality of service and food declined during the pandemic.
The food was good, but we asked our waiter to put the sauce on the side rather than on top of the steak and fries. When the order arrived, the steak and fries were covered with the sauce. It took some time to find our waiter to have the problem corrected (the food was not brought to the table by the same person who took the order). We enjoy the food, but the restaurant is really LOUD. Next time, weather permitting, we may elect to eat outside. I think the street noise would be more tolerable than the noise inside the restaurant.
Great food for the price. Consistently delivers. Service OK but not great, but the table next to us waited an hour for their main course. Boy is it noisy, though! One can hardly sustain a conversation over the din.
The quality of the meat has changed. The sauce was not as good as usual.
