Maki Maki is hands down our favorite spot in the area for sashimi. The fish is always fresh, and the portions in particular of sashimi are some of the most generous in the area. This brings us back again and again. While their sashimi is remarkable, their rolls and sides are also worth trying and many are excellent. In a town overflowing with sushi options, this one is a cut above the rest.
Just ok. Fish is fresh. Staff is polite. I'm a fan of Chirashi, and this is the skimpiest one in the Bethesda/Rockville area. Yes, it's slightly cheaper, but not enough to justify the small portion of fish and the lack of fish roe. I've ordered it twice from there when I happen to be down that way, but not again.
Maki Maki has takeout sushi in Bethesda. Fresh, generously apportioned, moderately priced, and beautifully prepared. Our family has enjoyed takeout once or twice a month forever. We would also eat at M-M before COVID, but still was so convenient to swing by and pick up, it was on our regular take-out rotation.
They use food coloring when preparing some of their sushi. Do I say more?

Enter thru side back door due to pandemic. Signs are clear. Yummy shrimp fried rice. Large portions for the price. Picking up. Recommended by the hotel.
I often take my friends to this place with my warmest recommendations. I go their often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The meals are delicious and the team is welcoming and cooperative. Every time we visit this place we enjoy a lovely time. I recommend this place with pleasure.

I visit this excellent restaurant many times since I like the special atmosphere that is exist in this restaurant. The crew is extraordianrillyremarkably cordial and skilfull. The service is extraordinarily fast. Not to mention, the food you get is magnificent. I have been there more than once and I was always joyful. The expense is honest. I suggest this place to to all.
