On a whim, we decided to go to Lucky Strike with the kids. We didn’t make reservations but the manager was able to get us a lane. There were six of us and we enjoyed two hours of bowling. Our server was friendly and polite. We ordered appetizers and drinks. Shenika (manager) came by consistently to ask if there was anything we needed or wanted. She ensured that my five year old son had a ball that he was comfortable with. We are definitely going back. After reading some of the reviews, I highly recommend folks go when Shenika is there. She is EXCELLENT!!!!!!
Despite the somewhat worrying amount of work I feel like the two (?!) employees were trying to do all at once by themselves, they were doing a great job, and I love the concept - overall very charming, with the combo restaurant/bowling alley thing. Mostly great setup with the couches and decorative bookshelves and extra arcade games, mostly well-behaved system, we all had fun in the couple hours we were there. I wish there hadn't been inexplicable enormous TV screens, though - they really detracted from the vibe and blocked the lines of sight from the couches to the lanes/scoreboard. I don't know what could possibly have possessed someone to spend a bunch of money making the bowling experience actively way worse.
Where do I start! We celebrated my brother’s birthday at Lucky Strike and what a time we had! The service was amazing, the restaurant is clean and the food is amazing! Last but certainly not least Shenika and Kevin were absolute joys to interact with! Shenika made it her mission to ensure our experience was everything it should’ve been! She was kind, over accommodating and super pleasant! Kevin was an absolute sweetheart and funny too! He was fast efficient and even took some great pics of our group at the end! Love this place! Definitely coming back!!
My friend & i loved their service! Thank you to Kevin Brooks, Khalil Torres, & the manager Shenika Canda made our nights fun and great! They made sure we were good and made sure everything was okay. It was nice to finally meet great people with awesome costumer service!! I’ve been a manager in the food industry so i know it’s not easy so to run a place or work in general but they were very energetic, and friendly! and i love their work ethic. Definitely am coming back.
On short notice, my family visiting from out of town wanted to go bowling on a Saturday night. After stressing to find a nice place that could accommodate about 20 people, we took our chances as walk-ins to Lucky Strike in Bethesda. From the very start, the staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. Jah'liah and Denny were exceptional. They fit us in and made sure that we were comfortable and that our large party was taken care of. I was absolutely shocked at how nice they were, because good customer service can be a rarity in the DC area. At the end of the night, my family had a wonderful experience, and I was happy that they were happy. It would NOT have happened without Jah'liah and Denny. I can't shout them out enough. I highly recommend this Lucky Strike location. The vibe is chill and fun, the place is clean and inviting, there is plenty of space to spread out, and the management is top notch. I do wish they had more vegetarian-friendly food on the menu. The salad I got was delicious and fresh, but a girl can't live on salad alone. Nonetheless, this location gets 5 stars! Highly recommend!
A wonderful experience for all ages!After looking at multiple venues for our son's 11th birthday, we decided to do the children's birthday package at Lucky Strike Bethesda, in Montgomery Mall. We were a bit skeptical at first since the venue was very modern and chic, probably more suited for older adults looking for a fun time with some drinks and appetizers. But looks are deceiving and we were impressed at the quality and care from the whole experience.We luckily decided to give it a go for a children's birthday party and couldn't have been happier. The service, from the initial contact with Natasha who was patient and courteous throughout the entire booking, was great and left me at ease. She was very responsive and always worked to make sure we got our reservation squared away.On party day, my son and his friends absolutely LOVED the place! It was chill vibes, as one young friend described it. The food was delicious, drinks were ALWAYS refilled, problems with managing the bowling lanes system was always handled quickly and correctly. The entire service staff were extremely attentive. This was nothing short of receiving a VIP bottle service sort of attention. Again, for a children's party! How amazing.The only downside may be that the kids would be spoiled from here going forward, as they may be thinking that this level of service is the norm. Unfortunately, it is not and Lucky Strike Bethesda is a true gem.Thank you to everyone at Lucky Strike Bethesda for making our son's birthday a truly memorable one.

I booked a food/drink package to come here for my 26th, and this place did not disappoint! I've been to a lot of places before where you purchase a 2-hour drink package and the waiter only comes to your table once every half hour to get your drink orders, but this was NOTHING like that! Our awesome server Raquel was constantly back and forth, delivering drinks and asking if anyone else had gone empty since she'd left. She was so on top of it, and it really made our night!! She 100% took away the stress of me making sure my guests were happy because she took care of everyone so well :) She really killed it, and she did so with a smile and an amazing attitude. She definitely made our stay more fun!! The manager, Shenika, was also amazing! I had a few questions for her throughout our stay, and she was so helpful in answering them! I really appreciate both of y'all being so accommodating and patient with our party. When we left, everyone was raving about how nice all of the staff was and how much fun we had :) You really made my birthday special, and we're already trying to figure out a time to come back and spend that coupon!!
good price, nice staff. a very cozy place to hang out with your friends and play some bowling. have been there many times and will definitely go again soon.
