A meal from the grocery aisle Asian section would be better. Basically ready-made tasting sauce with no detectable vegetable. Paneer plentiful but seems ready/made.
We ordered the Butter Chicken and The Chicken Tikka Masala. Both were delicious! The owners are very attentive. We would definitely come back if we were ever in the area again.
So delicious! We ordered Chicken with fenugreek a little taste of heaven, complex flavor not overly sweet and nicely blended with aromatics. Paired with naan and mango chutney great warm comforting meal.
I ordered delivery from here last night and it is the most delicious takeout I’ve had all pandemic. The saag paneer was perfect. The palak chaat was maybe better than Rasika’s. The naan was heavenly. And what’s better is that I ate three full grown lady meals from this delivery. These photos are just from the leftovers I had for lunch and dinner the day after I ordered and ate my fill! I strongly recommend ordering from here. I can’t wait to eat there after the pandemic!
This is one of our favorite restaurants. We have ordered (for delivery) thrice in the last three weeks and have been at the restaurant frequently with our friends. We like the preparation and the portion size. Today, I placed an order for delivery (the order was for 100 dollars) through Ubereats. I called them to ask them to please send onions on the side (something that most restaurants do). The gentleman on the other side was not exactly polite and refused in a tone that can only be described as rude. I can understand that they can add a charge, but we expected to be treated with some decency. The food arrived in time, was delicious and warm, and, surprisingly, there was onion as we had requested. However, the earlier treatment on phone did leave a bad taste in the mouth. I have given two stars because, except for this bad experience on phone, I do not have any complaints. I have learnt my lesson. I'll never phone them again, though I will perhaps continue ordering from them. An unfortunate incident in an otherwise flawless experience.
The Food is Rich and Dense. The food differentiates itself from the Indian food served in other Indian restaurants. The bread is fluffy and the dishes are plenty and rich. I haven’t had Gobi Manchurian like this anywhere in the neighborhood.
This is by far the best Indian food in Bethesda. All the dishes are so flavorful and delicious. Unlike some places that give you like two pieced of paneer in a giant thing of sauce, the whole container was full of paneer. We get take out from here all the time and it's consistently great.
We were a group of 5. We went for my sister's Birthday. We loved sitting at the round table. We ordered several dishes (ALL were delicious) and we ate family style. The services was great and VERY friendly. We loved the Chicken Marsala, Veggie Marsala, lentil dishes, spinach dishes & veggie samosas ❤❤❤❤ It was a very tastie & nice dinner.
Excellent fresh, chunky food in good quantities and nicely spiced. You can see the meat and veggies you’re eating rather than everything being mushed up. And spectacular kulfi! We recommend it highly.
Usually when go to a new Indian place, I get a dish and then ask myself… is this significantly better than the same dish frozen from Trader Joe’s … the answer was no… it could have been frozen… but the rice and naan were legit good… super chewy naan can really make you feel good .. so 4 stars instead of 3
