I hope they were 0 stars! Very rude manager ! We ordered a take out food here since we happened to be in the area. We live about 30mins away. When we got home our order was incomplete. So we called and told that we are missing the japchae that we ordered. The manager insisted that our order was complete because he double checked as he had a new staff in the kitchen. He NEVER even offer apologies and was right away defensive. We offered to send pictures of what's in the carryout bag but he said that pictures won't do anything - like accusing us that we are lying! He insisted that he would would only do a refund IF someone calls and claims that they have recieved a wrong order. He even hang up the phone twice on us! The worst and most arrogant manager! Beware if you plan on ordering take out here! NEVER COMING BACK!
Super fantastic!! I could not have imagined there is such a good Korean restaurant around Bethesda. It was much better than Annadale and Fairfax's famous Korean restaurants, which mostly changed the food into sweeter or saltier way. I had Bulgogi, Japchae(sweet potato noodle), Spicy stired squid and Pa jeon. Not only did they keep genuine Korean flavor, but also it was really tasty and fresh. I woud definately recommend this restaurants to anyone finding a real Korean restaurant around DMV area.
Bad service ordered kids food first left it outside for 20 minutes. Then said he would reheat it after bugs were on it. My food never came kept asking after 50 minutes said it was getting cut up multiple times. Then asked again said he had forgotten to put it in.
For one man working on his own he did a pretty good job. I got the kimchi soup which was super delicious. Friend got the bulgogi which he praisee
Food is good. Staff is friendly and quick. The environment is chill and not too noisy. The rice wine is actually really good, and served in a nice large ceramic cup with a ladle to spoon wine into your cup. They will also give you more banchan once you've finished them off, which is very appreciated - not enough places do this. Great experience!
I ordered beef bibimbap. And actually there’s no beef there. I called the restaurant. They asked me to prove that there’s no beef. Don’t call yourself a restaurant anymore! The worst local restaurant!
The Bibimbap is perfect!And serving sizes are massive.
Great restaurant, amazing Bibimbop, and they let our dog sit with us outside! Definitely will eat here again

Well I was attracted by the scrolling sign that says “first Authentic Korean Restaurant in Bethesda”. The food is good.
