Austin's just the best. Everything we had was delicious - sushi, miso soup, noodles, etc - but Austin just went above and beyond in making sure we had the best dining experience. Highly recommend this place!

I ordered from Hanaro a few times. The first time was the beginning of 2020- the sushi was amazing and I was very happy with the food and service. However, since Covid the restaurant seems to be in decline - every time I have ordered from Hanaro and tried different items on the menu since Covid the quality of food seems to deteriorate. Now, the restaurant itself looks rundown- not clean and even the female bathroom door frame is broken, and also the other half of the restaurant is used as a storage facility. This place looks sad now. With the price of food, location, and ambience, not sure if it is worth it.
Excellent ramen soups and sushi. The only disappointment was the portion size for the edamame (ordered both the regular and the spicy) and the cook on the edamame. For $5 or $6, I was expecting a nice-sized portion of soybeans, but got just a half-full small container, and they were all hard, with the outer shells not falling off like they typically do. I was very happy with the spice level of the spicy edamame (they are very spicy), and the spicy ramen was really good.
An interesting fusion cuisine. Seemed like a very popular neighborhood restaurant. Portions were large enough that we had leftovers for lunch the next day.
Like natalie in another review stated we absolutely love this place and always feel welcomed when we walk in. Not to mention the amazing service we receive and the top quality sushi served here. 10/10
Great restaurant. This is a great spot to go and to it’s our friends and I favorite spot to go to in town on the weekend. I love the owner such a new guy!
Tasty sushi at a good price point. Employees were helpful even when I had order issues via 3rd party delivery app.
Had the tonkotsu ramen, pork was tough and broth was way too salty (it's not salt ramen...). Also ordered nigiri but they didn't pack in the same bag and didn't tell me to take it, so.
Outstanding sushi. The teriyaki was the best I’ve had in a long, long time. The order was ready 20 minutes after I placed it online. I live in DC but I’m in Bethesda a lot and I’ll be going back to this place.
