We loved this place! The food was great and the corn tortillas were the best I’ve had! The server was knowledgeable about gluten (told me the chips are fried in a shared fryer and the carnitas are cooked in beer, which would have been follow up questions where we moved here from). They were also very accommodating with changing topics on my meat-and-potatoes FIL’s taco and didn’t bat an eye. Lots of very interesting offerings, we will be back soon!
Sat at the bar-,ordered food as soon as I got in- after 30 minutes- it wasn’t crowded- they said kitchen is backed up- ok- more than 40 minutes went by- I inquired again- they said kitchen is backed up with to go orders- eventually manager came over said it would be up shortly- when I politely pointed out it’s been 45 minutes- she turned around as bd left- said nothing- they are all about slinging weak drinks and if you not a hot chick- don’t bother them
We only had drinks at the bar but it was a great time. The facility is done up well. Service was friendly and prompt even though they were very busy. Food we saw all looked very good.
Great service, delicious drinks—get the jalapeño cucumber margarita. The carne asada is better than I imagined. The fish tacos are popping with flavor, and the tres leches is super yummy. First-timer. Will return.
First time here, I came for ceviche! I sat in bar area, an had shots. They offer a fish ceviche and shrimp ceviche separate so I asked the server if they were able to mix it and they were able to which was really good. It taste amazing, only thing that was a little off putting was green apples inside of the ceviche which wasn’t bad it was just a very unexpected crunch to the dish but overall this was a really good ceviche. I picked them out an ate them last. It wasn’t served with anything. Service and atmosphere were both a delight, I would return here when in area. I saw someone being served the fajitas and it smelled and looked amazing I definitely want to try that next.
Really nice staff! They're all excellent!! The food was okay. Could use more careful presentation and be more authentic or more sophisticated. Either way, it left us wanting more.
There is a fun "dia de Los muertos" ambience. The food is excellent. The queso dip is highly recommended. We're going back again for sure!
This was a decent place. Went on a date there and sat outside in their heated outdoor seating area. While my date was warm, I wasn't. She had the wall mounted space heater facing her and she got all or most of the heat while I got very little. Perhaps they could redo the seating to have the heaters evenly distributed for heat?We got ceviche as a shareable. I got the lamb quesadilla while she got chicken hardshell tacos. The ceviche was very good, the quesadilla was alright but my date said her tacos were just meh.To drink, we got margaritas and they weren't boozy and I'd have preferred it to be a little more boozy.Overall, it was alright.
Unpretentious real Mexican street food done right. Fresh and delicious options throughout. Guacamole is to die for. Duck confit nachos is a favorite, taco selection covers all the bases. Themed beer selection, bottle and draft, very good and excellent margaritas. All this priced right, nice Happy Hour and with two locations make this eatery a keeper.
Great food and atmosphere. Service is also good. Enjoyed the Mexican street food. The best thing was margaritas. Amazingly good.
