The food was okay … we ordered online after a long hike. We patiently waited and picked the food up 10 minutes after the pick up time from online. Which was fine, but I will say my Rueben was missing the pickles I ordered. No big deal … what really bothered me is we paid online and then the guy at the front register demanded to see our receipt before letting my husband or I leave the store … for a restaurant in a place with an abundance of food you’d think their customer service would be better.
Great selection of beer and wine, plus the little deli in the back to grab a bite to eat.
It took a while to get my sandwich, though I was there just after noon. And the sandwich was ok - more bread than other ingredients. The craft beer selection looked quite extensive and I may need to go back just to go through the craft beer in more detail!

I’m not sure you can go anywhere in the county and get a better philly cheesesteak. Always amazing and the selection of craft beers is off the charts. I will keep returning.
Good sandwiches
Any work trip to Bethesda is the best if it ends at Bethesda Market for lunch! Sandwiches here are AMAZING, great fries too! I’ve created several fans of this place and can’t wait till my next visit!
This is a wonderful market that serves all sorts of beer and wine. It also has a fabulous deli in the back and they make fresh and wonderful sandwiches - way better than the mass market sandwich shops.
Absolutely wonderful beer selection. I brew my own and have used offerings from Bethesda market as the competition to beat. My wife however, loves wine. That's why this review is five stars. Both me and my wifecan shop at the same store.
