Bethesda bagels is somewhere I have been going to for 20+ years. I’ve found that their bagels are high quality, but inconsistent across locations.This location at wildwood is good but not as good as downtown Bethesda.Nonetheless, the bagels are solid, the flavors are on point, and if you go early enough in the morning, they are fresh.
Easily the best bagels in town. They’re always fresh and filled with flavor - with “everything “ on both sides of the bagel. Store is always clean and service is polite.
Delicious bagels and great community minded business. Thank you for quickly jumping into action to donate bagels to Camp Airy after their dining hall was destroyed by a fire.
Very good bagels when they get it right. First time ordered in store and had no issues. Placed an online order for Baker's Dozen bagels and they weren't sliced (option selected and paid for). Third order, another dozen, again, not sliced. Today's order, Bacon, Egg and Cheese Bagel... NO BACON! It makes sense that mistakes are being made; they are extremely busy and when your order is right, it is glorious. However, mistakes on 3 out of 4 different orders within the past 2 - 3 months does not inspire much confidence.If you decide to choose this location, waste time and order in store: doing the online ordering will get your order 75-90% correct. Never tried Uber Eats but doubt that could enhance this experience.
First time, I actually did not intend to come in, but I noticed the line as had to see what it was all about. I had a egg everything bagel with jalapeño and cheddar spread very good. I will make my way here again when I’m in the area. Only slight issue with the establishment was the line. It was going out the door…a product of there success I guess. Might think about a bigger store front it seems you have grown out of your current store front.
The first time I had this sandwich it was amazing. But this time not so much. The avocado was hard as a rock, and not worth the extra $2 dollars.
Love the bagels but hate the online pickup arrangement. The prefer says a specific time and then the food is never ready. 20 more people standing around w no way to figure out what is going on crammed into the store. Staff not calling out calling out order #’s - so easy to do so much better!!
I LOVE THIS PLACE. My new favorite (reasonably) "real NY bagel place" in/near DC. Missing my homestyle NY bagels all the time, but this place does a yummily reasonable facsimile thereof. And, unlike two other local bagel places I've visited recently (Goldberg's New York Bagels & Izes Deli & Bagelry), Bethesda Bagels does NOT skimp on the cream cheese--thank you, Bethesda Bagels--five stars!!
Love their bagels. So much better than grocery store bagels. I buy a baker’s dozen of garlic and another dozen of everything. I freeze whatever we don’t eat in a day or two. I also love their chive cream cheese.
If you want the best bagel you'll ever eat this is the place to go. I' suppose the line outside is a good indicator of the quality inside. Fast friendly service and superior product. If in the area, be sure to stop by.
