Stunk outsideâ¦we went in hoping it get betterâ¦the place was dirty. Ceilings nasty, there was a spider hanging from the grill vents. The place had no ambiance. We left and went to Kobes. Just go to Kobeâs Japanese Steakhouse instead.
It was a cool experience for a family to go with kids or without kids. The cook was super sweet n nice. For 3 months in the job he seen so knowledgeable, his tricks where Awesome. He was also very respectful and very attentive. Our waiter was also super sweet n nice. Thank you for everything.
Food wasnât that great and we order steak and chicken , got steak and shrimp even through i repeated twice.. service was slow but itâs because they were only 2 servers working .. not their fault . 1 st time being here and experience were not great at all.
Portions have really dwindled. We haven't been since before the pandemic, but we used to be unable to finish our dinners, but this time, everyone finished their dinners and were hungry when we got home. I counted 3 scallops in my Land & Sea order, and the veggies were just a sad portion--like the equivalent of half of one slice of an onion (they are cheap, people!), 1/4 of a slice of zucchini, and 2-3 chopped up pieces of mushroom. Fried rice had scarce pieces of chicken and no peas or carrots or egg (if there were any, they were invisible). Chef did one or two weak tricks, food was underseasoned, and overall disappointing. They were also out of several beverage options listd on the menu. However, the server and manager were eager to please, so that was nice. We might be back, but no time soon.
It was a very interesting experience the Service and the food was good.
It was our first time here - celebrating an anniversary. Our table mates were friendly, waiter and chef also friendly; however the chef was extremely messy, kept messing up orders and left food on the grill too long. The shrimp was burned, rice had NO taste, and chicken was dry. The only thing that was good was the filet mignon. We will try it one more time to see if our experiences balance out. If not we will stick to Sakura.

The restaurant was dirty. I felt the grill was not properly clean. Especially during covid times things should have been better. Cleaner....it was Not!
