This healthy asian flavors food is awesome with limited choices that are packed full of the tasty stuff. The sauces have been predominantly in middle eastern or latin styles, but this place has some different ones like miso soup - it's free!! And if you're looking for something more kid-friendly then there'll be plenty on offer here too; we definitely plan to return again soon
Love Banana Leaves, it’s my go-to for vegan Asian options nearby. They have faux meats and will let you sub them in any dish, the prices are great especially considering I usually get multiple meals out of it, and the woman who is usually at the front desk is always so sweet and friendly.
Worst Thai tea I have ever had. Pad thai made we queasy so so quickly.
Great hole-in-the-wall style place for takeout. Good customer service from the man running the counter, who was very friendly and accommodating. The portion sizes were generous, and like another reviewer said tasted neither too oily nor salty. Amazingly huge variety of vegetarian options too. We're definitely coming back!
Really second/third rate food. Smothering long overcooked cold chicken in store bought peanut sauce, putting it on top of bland iceberg lettuce is not an Asian chicken salad in 2021. Dumplings were mystery meat. Most likely the cause of my gastro distress afterwards.
Good friendly customer service, good food. I love the garlic fried shrimp and the Korean spicy noodle soup with seafood. ♡
Banna leaves is an interesting one. On one hand I have tried the bubble tea, which tasted like strong coffee with hard bubbles and didn’t look like the picture. On the other hand they have the best fried rice I have ever had in my life. (yes it’s that good) So try it, but it’s a little hit or miss.
This is the worst meal we have ever had. The total cost for four are 65 bucks. The unacceptable thing is the noodles and ramens we ordered were not freshly cooked; the owner just used microwave to heat them up. THIS IS NOT THE WAY TO DO BUSINESS!!!!!
We order from Banana Leaves pretty frequently, and we're never disappointed. The hot and sour soup is great, and it's one of the few restaurants that sells lao bing (Chinese scallion pancakes). The mapo tofu is wonderful, and the Thai Seafood Delight is the closest to our favorite dish from the now defunct Benjarong that we can find. The fact that we can get both Chinese dishes and Thai dishes in one place is key. Do yourself a favor and try this place out.
This spot is awesome and broad, the menu was yummy and the rates were very affordable. fast, productive service and very personal staff. Will definitely recommend this spot.
