Had our first crabs of the season last night and they did not disappoint ! Also had awesome corn on the cob ! Richards is our ‘go to’ for steamed crabs and fresh seafood ! Been going there since they opened and it’s always been a great experience !

Surprisingly awful!! I’ve always ordered their steamed crabs and never really disappointed. However, I ordered their crab cake and fries for me and shrimp salad sandwich for my husband. I think the shrimp was bad!! It had a terrible smell and was brown. He had to throw it away. The crab cake was very small and dry with very little crab meat and more fillers. The fries had way too much salt and old bay and were very dry. Never again will I order anything from here but perhaps their steamed crabs in the summer otherwise beware and save yourself money and go somewhere else during the off season!!
This is my favorite place for steamed seafood in Hartford County. I've never had bad food ever...
Awful!! The Crab Cake was small and dry with very little crab meat! I also ordered a shrimp salad sandwich and I think the shrimp was bad. It smelled terrible and it was brown. We had to throw it away. The fries were very dry and way too much salt and old bay. Everything was awful especially for the cost!! I usually get their steamed crabs in the summer but I would never order from here again unless it was maybe the steamed crabs otherwise the food was terrible!! I prefer Conrad’s!!
A terrific experience Very friendly and I got 2 of their medium sized crabs that is crabs that were full of meat and heavy Bixby very very good experience I highly recommend Richard Fish and crabs I will definitely Tell friends and family just a great place Charles Atwell ?
We pre-ordered two bushels of steamed crabs for a large family gathering. The crabs were ready on time, prepared exactly as requested and - most importantly - delicious. We will be back!
Tried this shack for the 1st time. It is always slammed, so obviously a good sign. The family tried an assortment of food. Probably the best shrimp and crab I've had in MD. Hush puppies and potatoe salad was great! Give them a go if you're in the area.
