Totally Fresh & Delicious....WOW, GREAT SERVICE TOO!! WAY TO GO PRIMO..SUPER CLEAN,ENJOYABLE LOCATION.THANK YOU!!
Daughter had a variety sub platter over Easter wk-end. It was perfact, sandwiches were amazing! I couldnt stop eating them! If I lived nearer I would eat their often.
Where to start? The bearded guy... Slow, doesn't really know what he's doing, doesn't follow food safety regulations (doesn't cover facial hair despite having a mask around his neck, can't handle orders by himself yet is left alone to run the shop, which also speaks of the owner. They take their sweet time too so don't expect fast service. Apart from the good Primo reputation, don't be surprised to see this one go out of business if they keep running it as they do.
Descent food, slow prep, many issues with orders being made incorrectly. We keep trying to support local, and realize good help is hard to find, but these have been consistent issues.
The food was delicious and made exactly how I asked for. The manager gave me a hero discount for being a veteran. The store was very clean and the employees were friendly. Definitely would come here often.
Visited a primo hoagies location yesterday and had their Italian sub. While the meat and toppings tasted FRESH and good, the bread was hard . Also, when ordering the 9” sub, the employees should cut it in half automatically and not give a customer a sub that’s not been cut in half or whatever. Unless that’s their standard. Which I doubt. I didn’t wanna bother nobody and ask since they where working on other orders. So I used a plastic knife and cut it myself. The bread was so hard the plastic knife even had a hard time cutting it. The vibe inside also was very awkward. I did not feel the same way I would if I where sitting inside another sub shop.
The sandwiches are fine…if you don’t mind waiting for 30 minutes plus in a toxic environment. The one female employee (was told her name is Becky) yells and berates the other employees in front of customers. It is so horrible having to sit there and listen to it while you wait in a crowd of 10+ people for your sandwich to be made. This has happened to me twice now, and I will not go through it again. I already submitted this through their feedback form and have not gotten a response.
Always good food, always a good experience, the staff knows the names of the regular customers like myself and others and even knows some of order by heart and has it ready for us before they ring it up if they are not to busy. Despite the long wiat sometimes and having walkin customers come before all other orders I still give 5 stars. This store is worth it.
I just had the most delicious hoagie/sandwich ever! The primo hoagie roll was perfectly crisp on the outside and oh-so soft and tasty on the inside. I ordered the American with all the usual condiments except hot peppers and it was wonderful. the meat was soooo flavorful. I am looking forward to my next PrimoHoagies stop!
I keep wanting to promote local restaurants, and want to like Primo's. Their bread is the best thing about the place. It is delicious (and I'm not usually a bread guy). I think it's the freshness, and the sesame seeds. But $12 for a regular size sub isn't a great value to me. And I don't particularly care for the salads (potato, macaroni, slaw). And, this was not the first time that there was an issue with my online order. At first the guy wanted to blame the lost order on Grub Hub or another third party system. But when I said no, I ordered through THEIR online ordering, he found the order and then suspected that they gave it to someone else. It didn't take long to make my order at that point, but it defeated the purpose of ordering/paying ahead so I could grab dinner and go.There are just too many other local restaurants offering a better value price wise, equal or better quality food, with by far better service. One last thought: I'd rather my hoagie/sub/hero be built from the bottom of the roll to the top, rather than from the uncut side of the roll to the cut side. So that when you eat it, every bite has meats, cheese, and toppings. The way Primo's builds it, some bites are lettuce/tomato/onions on bread, and others are just meat and bread.
