I have had Margherita on several occasions and have never been disappointed. It's a great pizza shop with big pies, thin slices, and very tasty ingredients. I was recently at a birthday party that had Margherita pizza and it was devoured by the guests; I overheard folks raving about the cheese, the thin slices, the pepperoni, etc.I personally love the pepperoni pizza. The pepperoni has some great spice and perfect texture to enhance the homemade sauce and mouthwatering cheese blend. The slice is thin so a single is not overfilling. And the crust is not overly cooked or excessive (a sliver of crust just enough to hold your slice and not feel like you're wasting valuable stomach space by eating it).One of the greats in the area. Top tier!
Staffs were very well trained and pleasant. Very courteous and make you feel at home. I think this place is better than the expensive Italian restaurants. Food is great and fresh.
We called to get takeout on a Sunday night at 8:30pm and the lady answering the phone rudely told us "the kitchen is closed." Not sure if they decided on their own to close early, or if that's what time you close. If that's true, please don't answer the phone and fix your closing time on Google.UPDATE: Just called to get food at 8:30 on a Wednesday (closes at 10pm) and they said I had to put a tip on my credit card while on the phone because they "needed to close it out" for the driver.
I really like the taco pizza!
We were in the area so stopped in to get pizza to go. Ordered one cheese and one pepperoni. They were ready as expected. When we got home (35 min drive), we found that the cheese and pepperoni were maybe a bit undercooked and had pooled to one side of the pizza, which was a bit of a mess. The pizzas were good and the slices could be folded for easier eating - a little like NY style. If we're near one of the other three locations (Kingsville, Parkville, or Middle River) I would consider stopping in for a slice or a whole pie.
I got a cheesesteak, it was excellent. I'm from Philly and it's been hard finding a good cheesesteak. Most places are skimpy with the cheese, to the point I have to check to see if there is actually cheese on the sandwich.My only negative is I wish they offered a larger size.I almost forgot the most important part of a good cheesesteak and hoagie/sub is the roll. The roll was great!I highly recommend Margherita Pizza!
Ordered from here about 2 months ago and when I arrived to pick up my pizza was so undercooked I could stretch the dough out again. More recently placed an order for delivery waited over an hour never arrived. Called to cancel order young lady attempt to insist I keep my order to which I advised her I did not want to proceed. While talking I was hung up on. Don't know what's going on here but it seems place is going downhill. Management should become more involved.
I am not pleased with my recent order at all! My chicken sandwich was not good nor tasteful. I think they rushed making my food. I also had my food delivered and they messed up on my order. They brought one of the items back that they messd up on but a lady told me they CAN’T COMPENSATE me for anything because food cost too much (I asked her will they be able to compensated me) She literally compensate me by taking 1.88 off from my order and that was extra ranch dressing that I paid! Mean while I had to wait for the incorrect item to come back while my sandwich was already delivered. I usually order all the time from here but NEVER again.
The food was dry cold and more Lettuce then chicken. not worth the price at all!
Love this place. Their pizza is the best! Hands down!
