Always a great experience. Excellent good and service. Table side guacamole is amazing. Never had a bad thing here.
Never going back again. My family and i sat 20 minutes before seeing a waiter. Waited 36 minutes before getting our drinks and chips and then waited another 30 minutes for our meal. That is after our waiter came back and asked us what we order again. Then i found a hair in my food took it up to tell someone and was ignored. Other people had problems too.

Placed a takeout order to be picked up at 5pm. After waiting 15 minutes I was told that they were waiting for the "fresh guacamole" I ordered. Meanwhile, the guacamole was being prepared for multiple tables in the restaurant while I had been waiting for it, I guess there is only one cart to make guacamole?? At 5:30, 30 minutes after I walked in to pick up my order, I asked for a refund for the fresh guacamole. I was given a refund, with no apology, no word of how long I had to wait. This used to be one of our favorite places to eat, we will never go back!!!
Hands-down best margaritas ever! Raul and Roberto deliver fantastic service. Food is very good, and we highly recommend getting the table-side guacamole! As far as dishes, our favorites are anything with the chicken or beef tips--both meats are cooked to perfection.
My go to Mexican restaurant in Harford County when I visit family. This trip was a little disappointing. They didn't have any diet Coke, they said their machine was pouring regular Coke in the diet spot. Also they didn't have the item on their menu that someone in my party requested.
Order Online, arrived at the restaurant was told online ordering does not work. Re order in the restaurant waited an hour. Good food but service is slowwwwwww.
They must have changed chefs because the corn tortillas just fell apart into pieces. Couldn't use them for casadias at all. Plus the food was ok. I had better in the past. A bit of a disappointment.
The service at this location has always been spotty, but it has gone straight downhill. Restaurant closes at 10. My party arrived at 8:45, got seated, began to look over the menu, and then the host came out and said "Oh, we've decided to close. Sorry." The Bel Air location is much better.
Absolutely love La Tolteca. They do Mexican right. When I am in Churchville, Harford County, I have to have a meal here.
