I heard a lot about Barrett's on the Pike but I have not been myself up until now. Hidden gem in the strip mall. The revolving door set the tone for the dinner ahead (it's going to be great). We started out with the crab dip for an appetizer and it was so good! Very creamy, and the small, buttery toasted pieces of bread to eat the crab dip with were just amazing! Decided on the Pike Cheeseburger. Overall it was good. The bun was light and airy, and buttery. The hamburger was pretty solid, a large patty. The bacon could've been cooked just a tad longer (prefer crisper bacon), but still good. The Mango & Mandarin Salad was very good! Lastly, the Creme Brulee was ridiculously tasty! It was honestly too rich for one person. Still an amazing dessert! There are a lot of items on the menu that I wanted so I'll definitely be back!
I thought the food was good, everyone at the table seemed satisfied with the meal, although the entrees seemed a bit slow to come out. Maybe I would have thought differently if we had all gotten apps/salads. Sort of an odd beach scene on loop onscreen in the back room, but better that it was quiet and unimposing than loud and distracting. Overall, positive experience, we may come back and I'll try something other items on the menu that I debated.
We enjoyed our meal very much. It was a great way to celebrate our 52nd anniversary. I recommend Barrettâs on the Pike to all my friends.

This was our first visit to Barrettâs. We went there on my suggestion so I was hoping it would be great. First I will say that our server was delightful! She was there whenever we needed her but never was she intrusive. The food was Ok. I had the shrimp and g egg itâs and I found it a little disappointing. It was slightly dry and did not have much flavor. The fries are terrific and the hamburger bun is very good but the burger was reported to be dry. We will try again but my first experience was a little less than expected.
Lou & I stopped there after visiting Jarvis Appliances. Jonathan was our waiter in the Bar at our booth. He was an amazing waiter & we just loved him. We are hoping & praying we didn’t talk him to death ???. Crab Sliders & Sauvignon Blanc were outstanding!
This was our first time visiting Barrettâs on the Pike. Food was fantastic and so was the service.
Very good food and great service. Nice salads and our guests had the excellent fish special. We'll be back.
