Probably some of the best tacos I've had in life, have came from here! Cool atmosphere! Staff is usually cool and pleasant. The drinks are always good. I absolutely recommend anyone to come by and get some grub. The only thing that is weird is, they don't have a good parking situation. You basically have to find street parking or walk a couple of blocks from another parking lot.
The atmosphere in Zen West is really hip. from the setting to the delicious food and incredible live music. This place gets quite crowded. If you haven't already, it's definitely worth a look.
It was my first time having grilled chicken, and I absolutely enjoyed it. Once we come back, I'll try it again. Obviously, the quesadillas were excellent as always.
If your ever looking for some amazing grilled wings look no further. These were the best grilled wings I ever had. I also had the nachos and guacamole which was very flavorful. The beer was cold and good. The service was great as well. I already have plans to bring a group of family here to experience what I already have. This place is worth every penny. See y’all very soon
Zen West has an incredibly cool vibe. There's the concert area, the bar area and the speakeasy which is essentially a high-end tequila bar.... But you need to figure out how to get in.Go in, hang out, and enjoy this totally cool place.
Take it from a Mexican — the food here, while not necessarily authentic, is REAL DAMN GOOD. First time I’ve had an enchilada in the US and wanted more. Their tamales are worth it. Food is served hot, tasty, and satisfying. The service is great. I’ll be back.
Zen West is a great place for live music, drinks, and a bite to eat. It’s a bar, so expect bar food. Though I can say for sure that the enchiladas and club sandwich are quite good. The service has always been great, even when being served during a live show.
Great neighborhood spot for Tex Mex! There's a huge college crowd of Loyola Students, especially on Taco Tuesday, but we've always been able to get a table. They hold a lot of concerts, which can get loud, so if you are looking for a quiet night out, you might want to call before heading here! They just opened a Speakeasy, Clandestino, and it's very cool! Highly recommend.
They seem to know what the crowd likes here, it's ever expanding and improving. Need some help at the new tequila bar...the pours and mix were waaaay different from each other's drinks that were supposedly the same
Fantastic place! From the atmosphere, to the amazing food and great live music. It gets pretty packed here. Definitely worth checking it out if you havent already.
