Seven of us visited this place hopping to have some good Persian food. first the waitress had no idea about the dishes restaurant serving. took us at least 4 times explaining what we want and after that still we got wrong food. being from Iran we know what the Persian food should look and taste. They name their dishes Persian names but serve something that is completely absolutely 360 degree different. When we asked the owner about the food, His excuse was we serve American clients and this is how they like it. Then why you name a dish that you made up Persian food, (SOLTANI). waste of time, waste of money and terrible food. I would ever never go there again if they are the one and only Persian restaurant in United States.
We went to celebrate a birthday during Ramadan and received excellent service. As it is Ramadan, we asked the server if they had any dates so my family could break their fast. She brought us some as well as some bread. She was very accommodating and allowed us to wait to order until it made sense since my family was waiting to break their fast. For my entrée, I tried something new to me that I didn't particularly enjoy. It was cooked well and the beef was very tender - just wasn't my preferred flavor palate. The rest of my family seemed to enjoy their meal, though! We also got a birthday dessert for the person we were celebrating, and the rest of the table got ice cream. The ice cream was excellent!
We used to love this place. Then they jacked prices up in 2018, so we only did special occasions. Today we were craving Mediterranean, so we shelled out. Unfortunately their kitchen isn’t what it used to be. Hummus was grainy, spices were grainy and out of balance, salmon was way undercooked, veggie kebabs were not crispy pled enough, and the product they are using is poor now. Tomatoes were flavorless and mushy and Kalamata olives were awful tasting (how cheap ones taste). Sad to say this once great restaurant has gone downhill.
As an Iranian in the area, there is limited/no authentic Persian food options in the area. I drove 30 minutes to come here, and it was so worth it! Not just the best Kabob I had in the area, but one of the best Barg (steak) and Kubideh (ground beef) kabobs I have EVER had. The homemade doogh was also incredible and the Pita was delicious. I will be back for sure!
I have never had a bad meal here. I highly recommend this restaurant if you would like to try Persian food this is a great spot! My mother is half Persian and my father is full Persian and the whole family loves it here. We order food for family events often and the food is always a hit! The owner and his team are very friendly. Keep up the good work!
First time there. Had the ground chicken kabob. Short time wait. Mediocre quality. I’ve had way better Iranian food in the DC area, but this is not a bad Iranian kabob house for Baltimore
Ever never ever again. the worst tasting Persian food I have ever had. there was 7 of us went for lunch and food was absolutely horrible. waitress had no idea about the menu. We had to explain about 3 times in order for her to take our order. we ordered dish called Soltani.no where in the world Soltani comes with adas polo and half cooked. when we complained and asked for owner, i was watching him, he almost pushed plate off of counter and when came to our table was very rude and insulting. His excuse was he makes the food to the taste of his American customers. then this is not Persian restaurant serving real Persian food. we used to be regulars there before covide and this was the first time we were there after . they had some bad tasting Sause on the bargh kabab which real bargh don´t have any sauce that made it tasted like dish called abghost. he lied to our face that its the same menu before the covide. maybe for non Iranian customers it tastes ok cause they have not had the real kebob. out of 7 people at the table no one like the food and some didn´t even touch it after first spoon. and one more thing he had the nerve to say if you wanted Iranian style food you should have mentioned it. if that is the case then why you call your restaurant Persian when non of your food made Persian way. i should admit and be fare that couple years back food was good but not any more and if you notice it all the comments goes back 2 or 3 or 4 years or longer back. if you want Persian food this is not a place. don´t be fooled by the name. too bad there no option of no star cause this place doesn't deserve even one star. Terrible food and very rude people.
Absolutely wonderful food served by a delightful lady named Avery. The owner and chef is a humble, kind man with serious talent. Be sure to get some of their hummus and pita for an appetizer.

A hidden jam of Baltimore. One of the best kabobs I’ve had. Usually I like the milder taste and this was just perfect. Enjoyed the family style meal. Their pictures don’t lie. If it looks good then it will taste like meat butter in your mouth. I will definitely visit again just to have their kabobs. Wish they had some kind of sauce to go with the bread.
