Vent has a wonderful menu, with drinks ranging from Chai Tea, Coffee, and more, and food such as sandwiches, cookies and other sweat treats. The staff are incredibly nice and helpful and the mood in the store just has an overall cozy feel. I would highly reccomend this place if you're looking for a quiet coffee shop to work in or just a peaceful place to relax.
Such a nice experience. They have some homemade vegan candies and food. Also, they have oat, almond and macadamia milk, just saying macadamia is my favorite non dairy milk with coffee, and speaking of which the coffee is roasting in front of you.The register guy, Joshua, he was very friendly. If you are looking for some coffee shop besides Starbucks you should give a try in this one.I highly recommend!
The baristas and other staff at Vent are so friendly and welcoming. The coffee drinks are creative and delicious. My favorites so far are their cortado and the Portuguese iced coffee! Definitely a cool coffee stop. ?
Great place to work and study. There are outlets next to the tables and the staff is super friendly. I got a latte with honey lavender syrup (not shown in picture). The salmon and cream cheese is delicious, would definitely come again!
Really fun coffee shop. The atmosphere and vibe is great, cute, different, and industrial. The music is spectacular. Great place to write a paper, journal, or catch up with friends. The service is excellent. The vegan donuts are amazing. The only thing to note is the benches at the tables are not the most comfortable because they don't have backs, but other then that everything else was amazing! I was feeling brave and hungry so I tried their veggie burger, which as a complete carnivore, it is not something I would usually order, but due to their limited menu and the barista's recommendation, I tried it and it was actually fantastic. The bread they chose was a little thick in proportion to the burger, but the taste was so good.
I worked in coffee for several years, and I've tried most of the coffee shops in the north of downtown. Vent is by far my favorite. I've been coming here a few times a week for the last few weeks because I wake up thinking about having breakfast and starting my work there. The coffee and breakfast sandwiches are very good. I'm quite fond of the employees as well.I would not say that the ambiance or decoration is anything special, but those are not the reasons I visit coffee shops anyways. There aren't many outlets, and their seating is simple and stiff, but it is serviceable for a few hours work on a laptop. All in all, I would recommend Vent to anyone, and I am so glad they survived the strictest bits of the pandemic lockdowns and restrictions.
A coffee blog sent me to Vent Coffee Roasters while on a trip to Baltimore and I'm glad they did. Here's my experience going on Monday morning in December 2021:1) Coffee: They roast their beans onsite. As you order your coffee, you can watch them roasting! They have a full coffee menu, including a section for specialty drinks. I ordered their "Bangkok" with house made vegan condensed milk, espresso, oat milk and nutmeg. It was tasty and not too sweet. They also sell a few small pastries, My toddler was a fan of the small vegan chocolate doughnut.2) Space: It's a large space with benches inside and a few small tables in a room off to the side. During the pandemic, they ask you stay out of the main room once you have your coffee.3) Location: It's inside Union Collective, an old Sears warehouse converted into a space for local businesses. There's a large parking lot out front and nearby are many other businesses from bars to a brewery, etc.4) Service: It was efficient, but not friendly at all. The person at the register was fine, but the barista wasn't friendly at all. She seemed very annoyed I had a four-year-old with me and promptly told us to go to the side room once we got our coffee. Everyone is entitled to a bad day, so hopefully it's better when we return.
Great coffee and delicious food in an industrial atmosphere. I love the space and it's connection to other shops and businesses in the warehouse. Friendly staff and open seating inside or in the hallway. Patio is nice when the weather cooperates.
Great music, coffee, and vibes all around!
Delicious coffee, great merch. Fun atmosphere
