Saturday at about 8, there was no outside seating left but we sat inside near the window. There were not many patrons inside except 5-10 loud bar-goers. The staff was friendly and helpful. They stopped by multiple times throughout the meal. We had the crab dip which was better than I expected and the blackened tuna was seasoned well and really delicious. It’s been a couple days now and I keep thinking about it. It was served with refreshing flavors like mango and summer corn salad. My partner had fish and chips which was served as one big piece of fried fish. We both really enjoyed the food and the view!

We started at the bar and first thing we noticed was that their beer lines needed to be cleaned. The beer tasted stale and was extra foamy. We moved to a table outside and there were 6 of us. It was confusing as the waitress kept changing on us. It turns out, you are not assigned a waiter, as it is a group effort. I think that this a cool concept, but it has to have good teamwork to make it work. Sometimes, the servers were right on us when we needed something, and other times we had to flag someone down. The sandwiches were good, the Shepard's pie was above average. People who had the fish and chips were disappointed - it was overdone.

My wife and I arrived at Tir Na Nog Bar & Restaurant in Baltimore between 4:30-5:00 on a recent Wednesday. We sat at the bar. Every step of the ordering process required a lengthy wait. We didn’t even get eye contact from the staff for around 10 minutes. Finally I received a pint while my wife got a taste of one of their drafts before ordering a pint. After a wait, she received a pint, but the bartender gave her the wrong choice, so then she had to wait for the correct one. After consuming our drinks, we did not want to wait for another, so we endeavored to get the check. This took more minutes, and then we sat while our check and credit card lay ignored on the bar. Fortunately, we had cash with us, so we used that for the check and took our card and left. We’re aware of and sympathetic to the staffing problems that bars and restaurants across the country have faced recently. But this was completely unacceptable. If this staff was good at anything, it was avoiding eye contact and ignoring customers. The restaurant website states: “A true Irish welcome awaits you”. Nonsense! I’ve been to Ireland and nowhere on the Emerald Isle did we confront service like at Tir Na Nog. In that place I felt like I was intruding and unwelcome. A good business will conduct their transactions efficiently. Perhaps Tir Na Nog is Gaelic for “Abandon hope, all ye who enter here.”

just okay. had a bowl of the cream of crab soup and it was pretty good but a little under seasoned. i got the fish and chips and my partner had the short rib grilled cheese. my fish was pretty over cooked. the meat on his sandwich was very under seasoned. the cheese wasn’t totally melted and the bread was soggy. the fries were very good at least. the whole experience wasn’t terrible, but for $15 to $20 dollars a plate, i expected a little better.

Warm pretzels & mustard and and cheese saucers were a great appetizer. I got the fresh mozzarella & tomato sandwich and my husband got the Rachel (turkey Ruben) sandwich. Both were delicious. Beers were fresh and our bartender was personable & informative about the area.

So we’re do I start - service terrible - waiter was no we’re to be seen for over 30 minutes at a time. Food was average at best then they charge $26 for a double Jack and coke at an Irish pub…Go to any other restaurant in the immediate area lolLet’s now respond too the owner:We arrived at 12:30 and left at 3 your write waiter was very timely lol$150 for 6 doubles of Jack Daniels in a Irish pub doesn’t exist in any world but yours.I always tip? Now your menus clearly state 6 or more is included … I had 6 so if that didn’t happen as stated that’s on you not me …Sitting at Ruth chris with a double of Jack and coke for 22 and that’s a 5 star steak house … not an Irish pub with 4 things on a menu …Don’t go here owner blames everyone else but themselves!

Great views. Friendly service. Neat vibe.

We stopped here for a quick bite while in Inner Harbor. Staff was very friendly our waitress was great! We had the Irish nachos...oh my goodness if you're in town and like corned beef and cabbage you've got to try them. Sooo good but very filling. The restaurant has a great atmosphere we had a great time!

Many restaurants that have an incredible view depend on that to distract you from very mediocre food. I was there for lunch with friends and was pleasantly surprised. You could tell they were a bit short handed and the place was pretty busy, but the service was very timely and covered by a host of people. We had at least three people refilling drinks, bringing food, etc. They hustled and made you feel welcome. Great effort!

You can certainly debate the authenticity of this Irish pub (aka chain) but the food we had for lunch was very tasty - thumbs up to the braised pork grilled cheese -- yum! Location is right in the Inner Harbor - nice views. The building the restaurant is located in is under renovation (has been for a long while) so the area surrounding the restaurant looks run-down but inside it's great. Fries (chips) were spot on!
