I was so happy to finally visit this female black owned establishment as I've been eyeing this business and another from this owner for about 2 years now!I initially planned to visit another location right before Covid but... well you know.I kept up with this businesses information as far as how they sustained through Covid and how they continued to be successful in the Downtown/ Fells Point area.A great reputation goes a long way !!It was definitely a sign when I woke up to watch my local morning news station recently and saw the owner and her mom on there talking about this specific business and location. I told myself that I am def going to visit this week and I did!I arrived a few days later and ordered the Bird is the Word (chicken sandwich), French fries and Pineapple Ginger Lemonade!Customer service was definitely on point. A young respectable black male assisted me w everything and sold me on the Pineapple Ginger Lemonade which was on point.I even encouraged my friend w me to support. She bought a Simpleton Burger and Onion Rings !!She was in awe from the deliciousness!!There was a short wait, everything was made fresh and delicious! Definitely worth the wait.I will most definitely return and order the same thing and more !!
Waited 45 mins for 2 burgers and a fry. The fries were hot, but in little pieces and the burger was cold and overcooked even though I asked for medium. The special sauce was amazing! Be prepared to wait and don't go starving!
Salmon burger was dry, not very flavorful and very overpriced for what it is ($16). It seems to be fresh made from canned Salmon. Bun was just ok. Would not recommend but food options are limited at the market.
Food was great. Would love to come here again. However It took almost an hour to get two burgers and fries. With that long of a wait I probably won't return.
I had great service and the burgers were really good. You can definitely tell the ingredients are high quality compared to other burger places.
I was gifted, last week, with an AMAZING Sweet Potato Pie Milkshake from the Urban Burger Bar! I track everything I eat/drink, and there is no SPP shake on Myfitnesspal ?. I showed up today to get some guidance, and the cook on duty, with warmth and a bright smile, went above and beyond to gather data from every ingredient so I could figure out my intake!
I’m glad I stopped by Whitehall Mill. The burger I had at urban burger was very good. It had great flavor. A teeny overcooked, but made no difference in the end because of the flavor. Onion rings…yummy. Great service. Will be back and worth the visit!
This place is like in a hidden gem. The food was tasty, I got the salmon sandwich and my wife got the burger. We both loved the way the food taste. The bread was a little much and the fries were kind of cold despite just getting them. Will be going back to try something else. The smores milk shake was good too. I just wanted it to be a little more thicker. ? will add photos next time I visit.
I finally got to this spot that I have been attempting to get to for the last couple of months now! I needed a really good burger so I went to @theurbanburgerbar to fulfill my needs!! Located at 3300 Clipper Mill Rd., Baltimore M.D., you’ll find this spot inside of Whitehall Market amongst place like Crust by Mack. Their menu it fairly simple, and to the point. They have their Simpleton burger (with Angus Beef, Cheddar, and lettuce, tomato, with Urban sauce $8), their Bay Burger (angus beef, crab dip, caramelized onions, lettuce, onion, and tomato $), their Bird is The Word sandwich (fried chicken breast, lettuce, tomato, and pickles with special sauce $7), and their Beyond Possible burger (Beyond Meat, Vegan cheese, lettuce, tomato, and vegan urban sauce $12.50). I copped the Bacon Bae (pictured-Angus beef, thick cut bacon, cheddar, lettuce , tomato, with Urban sauce $10.50). I added a fried egg which made it $11.50...STAMP!! This burger was AWESOME, it got it cooked medium well, and with their fresh ingredients...it was a burger done right!! Next up is their Skyscraper burger ( 2 Angus beef patties, with cheddar, lettuce, tomato, topped with their onion rings, and Urban Sauce $13.50). This burger is HUGE, STAMP delicious, and everything you need a burger to be!! Get it!! That’s it. I also had their Sweet potato fries (pictured $4) that I didn’t need any sauce with...delicious!! I snatched their Strawberry shortcake, and S’mores (pictured-$6 ea.) milkshake too!! STAMP!! They are both STAMPED as well!! The customer service was excellent (attentive and welcoming) here, the establishment was clean, and inviting, and parking was readily available. Make the trip, get some good food, it’s well worth it!! That’s it. #burgers #angus #bigschlimsreviews #sweetpotatofries #strawberryshortcakeshake #smoresshake #fried
First time here and I will definitely go back. The food was fresh and the wait was short. The chicken was breaded ever so lightly and fried to perfection. I loved the fries. The ginger lemonade was also good.
