The first time I tried one of the crab boxes and it was pretty good. The seasoning and sauce were delicious, so I regret not springing for the bigger box with more crab - but then I can be greedy! I tried it out tonight and got a fish and crab cake combo with the deviled eggs. Well... The fish (swai) was a smidge over seasoned, the Mac and cheese was just a smidge bland but the collard greens were packed with good flavor and I could have just ate a bowl of that!!! The deviled eggs were quite tasty, so maybe they got the memo from a previous poster... There was still water in the bottom of the container but the egg itself was not watered down or soupy (didn't smell fishy either) so I really enjoyed them. Now this crab cake... When I tell you I have been sketchy about fish and crab cake combos because any other time I get a combo like that the crab cake has been trash but this crab cake here is AMAZING!!! I was a little taken back by the price but when I wrapped my lips around that crab cake, hunty! Worth EVERY cent!!!At the end of the day, this is my neighborhood crab spot now so I will be back. And like many small businesses, sometimes it takes a little minute for them to find their stride with consistency - but that also depends on us as patrons. So I hope this helps them keep an eye on a few quality control things with the food and encourages others to try the menu before you form (and spread) any negative feedback only. I think this spot could be a seafood staple in this neighborhood and people deserve the convenience!!! Lord knows my greedy self does!! See you next time, Soul and Krab House!!! Twice, i purchased fried wings platter. The 1st time wings were too salty , so I tried for a 2nd time, too salty again. This time I called to inform them that this was the 2nd time purchasing wings that were too salty to eat. The staff was nice, however they didn't offer any kind of compensation forthe inconvenience.
I've been to this spot about a dozen times and the customer service has always been superb. I might have had one bad experience with the crabs but other then that they are normally really good.
Customer service was excellent. The food was decent. Pros are the seafood was fresh and the butter sauce was good. Cons the corn was hard and pasta under seasoning. Will try again.

This was my second time ordering from this place and my review is an average of both times.This time I ordered the blackened salmon over rice with 2 sides, fried catfish with 2 sides, bang bang shrimp and the seafood deviled eggs. To start the bang bang shrimp is hands down the best thing of all of the items I have tried from the menu. Also the fried catfish was hot and flavorful. The blackened salmon was pretty good but a little dry. The string beans and yams were good as well. My issues were with the items I should have received with my meals. The catfish meal comes with 2 pieces of catfish, I only received one. The salmon comes with rice, but I did not receive that either. In addition, the bang bang shrimp comes in a quantity of 8, I only received 6. For the price of the food, you should ensure that the customer receives everything that’s supposed to be included. Now onto the seafood deviled eggs. They were not good. They had little to no seasoning, not even paprika on top. They also had water accumulated in the bottom of the container and had a very fishy taste. Seafood should not taste this way. I would try the food again as there were some good items.
Just got home with a lake trout sandwich and fries, 1st bite of sandwich and almost choked- had to spit it out, 2 fried pieces of lake trout had complete backbone full of bones. I was unable to eat any of it without risking bones being swallowed. I called immediately to complain and was told the owner/ manager would call me right back tonight, Im still waiting for the call and a refund. Really disappointed, wasted my money,$14 + for a lettuce, tomato bread sandwich with fries. Be warned☹️
I’ve been patronizing this place for a few years now and unfortunately this experience tonight was horrible. The crabs were either burnt or soggy on the inside but in either case they definitely were just hallow. Out of 6 crabs, I ONLY ate 2. All the rest were not worthy for consumption so were trashed. The crab legs were dry and didn’t have much meat. All in all, this was so below the great quality that I’ve been accustomed to from here. If it’s the end of the night and you just don’t have quality food left, it’s best to simply just say you’re out of it... I even paid for butter (which I think is silly that there is a charge for...it’s like charging for syrup when you order pancakes) and unfortunately didn’t receive it. The cashier and staff were friendly, as always but the food was ??. This was a waste of my time AND money.
I love coming here to get the Extra large crabs with the Garlic Butter. The customer service is superb. I also had the double Crab Cake platter with Mac & cheese. Yams and a side of green beans. Normally when I call my order in I'm typically greeted by the Cashier Sherri and she always attentive. I enjoy coming here. It's so hard for business owners these days due to Covid. So please continue to support your local businesses. We need them and they need us! See you guys next weekend!
