Unlike most places, the OWNER takes your order. Not only is he personable but honestly answers your questions about the menu and if you ask he'll even tell you his personal favorites. The spot is a little on the small side but sports a few tables in the back, a bar in the front with a couple chairs across the room, and tables out front. At this point, I've pretty much eaten my way through their whole menu and you can't go wrong with anything. This time, we ordered the Mac n Cheese, collard greens, meaty beans (emphasis on MEATY), coleslaw, and ribs. Personally, I like my ribs drowned but that doesn't matter much when you have fall off the bone ribs made prefectly. Sadly the photos don't do this place justice.? The staff vibe is laid back and cool. Think beard, tattoos, and vans. One even opened the door for me (when he was on break) and the guy behind the bar nodded me towards my order to let me know it was ready as soon as I walked in the door. That speaks volumes about their customer service considering he was busy at the bar and didn't take my order. If you still don't know if this place is for you, checkout their IG or Facebook and get a real feel of the owner or better yet just go. There's a reason they sell out fast... and it's NOT because they were on Guy Ferraris' show.?♀️
The atmosphere is terrific and I enjoyed my sausage and mac & cheese. The bartenders were helpful in making food and drink selections.

I had the ribs and mac and cheese and it was all amazing! Delicious sauce, a lot of meat and great flavor, all at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend!
