Firstly. This one star is on principle. Any place that charges for customers to be hydrated has lost my business. $1 for water bottles no cups of water offered. They have no cups shortage for their subpar drinks tho ? the only drink we enjoyed was the margarita which is pretty hard to mess up with mix. Everything else was mid.Bottomless brunch- not worth $25 dollars. They need to offer a special where you get your entree AND bottomless drinks for 35-40 instead of ordering separately and paying $25 for drinks alone. Very unappealing format imoThe one thing I enjoyed was the crab cake Benedict however the side of potatoes was smaller than everyone else’s plate and undercooked. If you’re in a tight spot where you absolutely NEED a reservation that is the only reason I’d recommend this place. Otherwise stay away. The oyster house next door had marginally higher prices for an actual dining experience. Sometimes you get what you pay for and at this place you don’t even get that. How are they charging $24 for a meal and you have to eat with plastic silverware. Most of our group was pretty unsatisfied.
Great bartender. Best crab corn chowder!!!!
Mac and Cheese night was a cool concept, not sure if the crab was worth the extra cost. Not sure who opened the flood gates on a Tuesday night but about 10:30 things got hyped, lots of fun
Ordered the crab cakes (of course) and they were very good. We had an excellent waiter - Javier - and it was a great experience.
We just got done with brunch. They must have paid off the author of the article that rated it as one of 7 great brunch places. I made a reservation for 10am and even indicated on the reservation that I needed a high chair. The reservation was accepted about 30 minutes before we arrived (they open at 10) so they had time to address the high chair situation but our options were to sit outside in 50 degree weather or a high top. We opted for outside. In their defense, the host came out a bit later and said she opened upstairs so we could get a high chair to the table. We stayed outside as we were already sat and the sun was ok. We waited about 10 minutes for a server. After 25 minutes of us sitting, we finally got drinks. There we're about four tables total there so I'm not sure what the holdup was. The kids menu had one breakfast choice which was dry pancakes. It was a bit entertaining watching our children try to chew and swallow them though. The description of my avocado toast looked amazing and the bacon was good. It was all cold. I'm not sure if the crab was supposed to be cold but my eggs definitely were not. In addition to bummer food, the city was kind enough to be changing the trash can right next to us (maybe the restaurant could ask them to do it before they seat people right there). This place adds a mandatory gratuity for four people or more which I just don't understand. There is obviously no motivation for decent service and I think 25 minutes to get drinks is ridiculous. And not to go all Gretta Thurnberg but the only water option are plastic bottles. They provided an acrylic cup and ice for it... You can't just use tap water? I'm happy to pay but show some responsibility.
I took away one star due to the bathrooms being dirtyBut the food was great!Pictured below:Chicken and wafflesCaesar salad with salmon and shrimpCrab dipOld bay Brown sugar wings (these were ????)
Wandering around Fells Point and looking for a brunch place. The Crab Cake Benedict caught my eye. Very delicious and fried green ? tomatoes added extra delight. Great brunch highly recommend.
Bottomless brunch was 10/10! The staff was so attentive and the food was good. There were several pescatarian options. Mimosas were great! Overall a fun, good casual spot in Fell’s.
The Point is by far one of the best bars fells point has to offer! Great atmosphere and with an even better bar staff. Terri is an absolute gem and just might be one, if not the best bartenders in our city! So what I am saying is Get to the Point ! Make sure you ask for her!
We hadn’t been out much during the pandemic, but wanted to visit a local place. The food and service was excellent, the bartender Terri couldn’t have been any more knowledgeable about the food and beers on tap. Wonderful experience, we plan on visiting again when the weather is better to sit outside.
