Staff were friendly but the food was not good.Everything was really slow, we waited for about 20 minutes to see our server, who was not very responsible, the coffee mug was stained with a sauce, which the server said is from a food that they were carrying. However, they didn't change the coffee ?Anyway, we had to wait for almost 40 minutes to get the food, and it was not good at all! The server was repeating that the restaurant is very crazy todayWe got egg Benedict, french toast, biscuits and sausage gravy. The best part was the pancakes and it was really delicious and fluffy. They automatically added 18% tip, and we didn't like it because of the bad service

We went to this place for a breakfast and it was so damn good ! The waitress was so nice, I hope, I will go back soon :)

Customer service and wait time was excellent ?!

I would give zero stars if I could. My experience was so bad that I am in fact going to corporate about the food standards and quality of food and staff. My food was undercooked and I mean raw undercooked. The waiter was none existent to the point where we had to get up to walk to the front to get some assistance with our bill, that was completely wrong. She gave us someone else’s check. My pancakes were literally pancake mix raw. When I told her she asked if I wanted them to cook it more I said no I’m about done. All the rest of my food was no better. She took my plate and didn’t even apologize for the horrible food or service. I would NOT recommend this restaurant at all. $60 wasted.

Just had breakfast there w my wife. Waitress was awesome. Food was amazing

Sadly, my first visit will likely be the only visit. I generally love breakfast spots but this was a very dismal experience. We walked in and there was a sign to wait to be seated, so we waited, and waited, and waited, as we watched numerous people come from the kitchen and into the dining room. There were 4 tables sat and 3 servers that we saw. I was able to catch the eye of one of the servers, who pointed at us/the host stand, prompting the hostess to finally come greet/seat us.Once we were finally sat, we watched a gentleman come in and stand at the same empty host stand, waiting to be sat. He got frustrated and left as another party of 5 was coming in, who also waited a long time to be sat. Another couple came in a few minutes later and, because no one came to seat them, they walked the entrance of the dining room to, seemingly, seat themselves. A server just so happened to be walking by and told them the host would be right with them.We sat at the table for a good 10mins before anyone noticed us, and that only happened because the server for that party of 5, who was sat at the next table, came to greet them and saw us still waiting. Our server finally came by, got our drink order, and brought those right back. She asked if we were ready and we asked for another minute. Many minutes went by as we watched her go between 2 other tables and the kitchen, never once glancing our way. I finally had to stare her down and wave to get her to come back to us.We placed our order and waited some more. The food took a lot longer than expected, and then wasn't correct, nor was it our complete order, when it was dropped. I ordered a well done English muffin, which was the item we didn't get, had to wait for it. When it came out, it didn't even look like it had touched a toaster/grill. I sent it back and got it back with a tiny brown spot in it, while the rest of it was still white and slightly doughy in spots. By this point, the rest of the perfectly cooked over-easy eggs (despite ordering them over-medium, so there was minimal runny whites) were cold and I was over the whole experience.I'm generally a minimum 20% tipper (I have lots of personal experience with, and am very sympathetic to, how servers make their money) but, with the auto-gratutity of 18% thats added to all checks, that's all our server got. She was friendly enough so I hope we just got her on an "off" day (they happen to all of us). If not, retraining might be in order because she definitely did not have any kind of rhythm or flow to her process, and she never once apologized for, or acknowledged, our long wait or the mistakes/omissions on our order. :(

Brunch here was one of a kind to say the least. The food was pretty good. The seasoned potatoes are great, the pancake remind me of sourdough flap jacks( would be complemented well by some real maple syrup instead of the ultra sweet pancake syrup). The service is slow but the Apple Pancake that takes 45minutes to bake was amazing seriously with a layer of baked eggs on it. One of a kind. If I go back I will be sure to try the Dutch Baby.

This was our first time we have ever eaten at The Original Pancake House. We only had to wait 30 minutes on a very busy Sunday early afternoon. The food looked amazing. The menu has some unique items and we were excited to try new things. Go for the strawberry crapes with bananas on top...yummy. Unfortunately there were many issues from service to the way our order was cooked and prepared. We finally asked for a manager as we could no longer continue to receive bad service (mandatory 18% gratuity ) so we had say something. The manager came over and apologized for the issues. The owner came over and took care of all the issues and was very very nice and apologetic. We will be back on a day that isn't a weekend. Very good owner and stands behind is establishment, which is rare now a days.**FOLLOW UP:Thank you for your response, we will be back for sure. I really want to try the lemon dutch boy and Apple pancake !!I will change to 5 star I am sure at my next visit.

Not many places make Buckwheat pancakes, an old time family favorite, these days, so a visit to OPH is a treat. Almost as good as Mom used to make: fluffy and generous servings. Enjoyed the full breakfast with eggs, potatoes and bacon on the side. Things moved a bit slowly because every table was taken, a testimony to good food and reasonable prices.

The food is always on point! We come here often(2-4 times per month) with friends and family even our 1 year old daughter. They accommodate the ENTIRE family from my daughter saying hello to all the staff to substitutions on some of the meals we order. The Belgian waffles are AMAZING. The blueberry tea is EVERYTHING. Fast and friendly service. Even when they are busy it is worth the wait!
