upstairs on a rainy night - delicious, fresh food with fun cocktails. Bergamot gimlet was outstanding, smart by the glass wine list. Grapefruit cardamon creme brulee was inventive and tasty. Grilled octopus was also good. Too hot for stew but soups did look good.

Loved the outdoor dining option. If you love fresh oysters this is the place to go. They have an excellent variety of oysters to choose from. Their crab cakes are perfect - no fillers and a delicate flavor. The fish and chips were excellent. Fish perfectly cooked and very flaky. The Ginny Lynn is a perfect summer cocktail. Very refreshing. Service was very good. This was my second visit and I'm sure I'll be back.

We were celebrating father day with brunch @ Thames Street Oyster House. Indoor sitting was busy. We were given detailed description of specials. We had raw oysters & fried calamari for appetizers; calamari were very tender. For main we had crab cake & lobster roll which were outstanding. Service was great and very fast. We definitely recommend this restaurant.

Thames was outstanding!! The Crab Cakes were fantastic as was the service. I will definitely be back the next time I’m in Baltimore.

Raw bar is great...that’s where it ended. The wait staff was nowhere to be found when we wanted to ask about the hard boiled egg on the charred asparagus that should have been soft boiled. While the mussels were good, they used to be great. Hearty pieces of sausage are no longer included in the dish, therefore, flavor is lacking. This used to be our birthday, anniversary, special occasion place to go. I tried addressing my concerns, but no one was interested. Very sad.

The restaurant has about six tables in a fairly large outdoor area. We tried to make a reservation for an outdoor table but we’re told it was fully booked. Fortunately when got there it had been raining and the rain just stopped. Because of this we were given an outdoor table. The tables were sufficiently separated and we felt very comfortable. The food is as good as they say in the reviews. We had an octopus appetizer and then a crab cake and oyster stew (daily special). All were excellent. We highly recommend this restaurant for a nice meal.

We ate 2 dinners here because they allowed our small dog and outside dining. Waitress very friendly. I had raw bar clams and oysters which were great and wife had good hamburger. 2nd night I had calamari which was only ok but highly recommended. I’ve had better. Location great, across from our hotel Pendry and bar next door had good music.

My wife. daughter, and I have traveled extensively and this was the best meal we've had overall. I challenge anyone to find better oysters and seafood prepared more deliously than at theThames Street Oyster House. Seriously! We loved it. Fresh succulent oysters. Perfectly seasoned and prepared entrees. This place is worth evety penny. Kudos!

Everything is great - I am making a trip back there just to have other dishes on the menu. Parking - so that can be a headache but public parking around the corner 13 dollars for a few hours. Best cab or walk. Needs a coffee machine.

Visited Thames Street Oyster House during a business trip in March after reading the reviews on Tripadvisor. My business associate and I were not disappointed. I had made a reservation via the Resy app for 8:00. We showed up about 10 minutes early and were seated by the hostess within 5 minutes. We sat downstairs at a high-top table adjacent to the bar. Not many tables downstairs, but we saw many folks going upstairs so there must be more seating upstairs. I started off the dinner with a La Ardilla cocktail which was delightful, fruity, not too sweet and was very refreshing. Next, we picked out four different oysters out of the dozen or so choices, ranging from east coast and west coast options. Our delightful server brought our oysters shortly after we ordered. The salinity levels and flavors were very different for each of the variety of oyster. The cocktail sauce was good, with the right amount of horseradish. We ordered the special monkfish and crab cake. We sampled each dish and both were fantastic. The crab cake was very large and meaty. The fish was on a bed of greens, gnoochi and bacon. Fantastic! No room for desserts. Atmosphere, service, drinks, food were all top notch. Highly recommend trying next time you are in Baltimore.
