I would not recommend this place to people who are looking for authentic Thai food. I have eaten way better Thai than this. Seems like they fall short on everything taste, veggies, etc. I am so surprised it has been rated 4.5. Spice is ok but then watch for the levels when you order. Overall below avg and will not go back again. Thanks.
So good. I got spoiled coming from an area with really good and authentic Thai food and a lot of the DC area Thai food isn’t authentic and is pretty bland and not spicy. I expect spice in my Thai food, but also realize that I have no business ordering Thai hot, and good Thai food has a lot of flavor that isn’t JUST spice. Thai street was the first Thai restaurant that I tried in Baltimore and it made me realize how much I missed quality Thai dishes. Everything we tried was delicious, and I loved having leftovers. The Pad Gra Prow was excellent, and it’s one of my favorite dishes but also one that you don’t always see on every menu. I’m pretty sure I’m going to be trying to convince my husband to let me get Thai Street weekly.
Thai Street is my #1! Wifey and I almost tried every thai food place in MD and We get let down. Not that the food isn’t good at other places…. Thai street just has a very unique taste that nobody else has maybe it’s quality ingredients or maybe it’s that you can choose your own spice level… I don’t know.. whatever they are doing there it is perfect for us.
Good, fast, spicey. Everything you want from a Thai place. The staff are exceptionally helpful. My wife is allergic to soy, and they were able to give several recommendations for foods she would be able to eat, went out of their way to suggest several dishes and checked with the chefs to make sure we would be in the clear. It's one of my favorite places in Baltimore, and an easy recommendation for anyone asking for a place to grab a quick bite.
Trying out other Thai restaurants in the city and this place was a great find-definitely has REALLY good food. My previous try on another place in Towson was ‘ok’. Genuinely friendly (not fake) customer service (a plus) and food is very flavorful and fresh, plus they know better to bag your food in case it’s in broth (not like a previous experience where it spilled and fell through the paper bag onto the ground and the restaurant was unsympathetic). Appreciate they have a spicy scale -guy was extremely helpful over the phone helping me pick a level. Glad I tried this place out and will be back. Must try! A+++
??? Excellent pad Thai with shrimp. I went with "Don't do it" spicy level and it was really good! I love spicy food though. ?️?Thai iced tea and spring rolls were excellent too. It's a bit on the pricey side considering it's not a full service restaurant but totally worth it
Superb food!!!
Had the Panang Curry with Tofu and the Thai tea, they were both delicious! The girl and guy working were very kind and helpful with my selections.
Great, quite authentic Thai food. Rich flavors and some unique options. 3 out of 5 is pretty hot for the American palate... Fair warning :) Good boba tea options as well.
Inside the historic Broadway Market in Fells Point is a little gem worth NOT MISSING. Thai Street serves among the best Thai food we've had on the East Coast. During an overnight trip to Baltimore, we walked from our hotel to Broadway Market on a Saturday around 6 p.m. Beating any line, we ordered right away. The man behind the register was super nice and even immediately corrected a wrong order that was brought out to us. He even brought out ice water for us!We ordered papaya salad, green chicken curry, pad thai and tom kha gai soup. Before placing your order, they ask what spice level. Loving spice, but not overpowering, we ordered the level one and it was perfect! Each dish was fresh and full of flavor. We'll crave each dish!
