Delicious, authentic food and nice staff. Homemade guacamole was excellent. The enchiladas (red) were spicy, but I enjoyed every bite. Only wish I knew about this place earlier. Hope to Go back soon for their tacos.
Delicious ? Don’t sleep on this taco joint it’s just too good!
This place deserves -5 stars. The food is disgusting. Customer service here is egregious and terrible. The staff and servers are disrespectful. They show no regard for dietary needs and restrictions. Customer service was so bad that they physically put their hands on my friend, pulled her hair, and fought her just for saying her order was wrong. Thankfully, the two servers who assaulted her can’t fight. I am currently in the process of reporting this “business” to the better business bureau. I recommend anybody that considers eating here to STOP. If you’re a regular, find a new spot. Here are better options: La China Poblana or Vargas.
This is my favorite taco spot in Baltimore!! They have the best guac and it’s the only place my partner and I I go to for our steak tacos and guac. The customer service is good despite the slight language barrier and I always feel welcomed and like a family friend. I don’t have any complaints. I have had occasions where the food is a miss and not a hit but that’s normal in these times so I’m not going to give them trouble for it. Humans are human. I love and support this small minority owned business.
I have dietary restrictions and simply because of that the waitresses (yes we had to do deal with three different staff members) did not want to give me a full refund when the meal was practically intact. I decided to just drink my soda and the waitress stated "well I can pay for your plate then" and left. You can hear the staff bad-mouthing us from the kitchen and sent a different staff member who threw the check on the table and stated: "and don't need to pay for the tacos" in the rudest tone. The staff put all the fault on me simply because of my dietary restrictions. Never in my life have a dealt with such disgusting service. I am in the restaurant business and love to support small businesses but in all my years never have I come across a staff like this. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION!
The fried mojarra was delicious. It was really fresh and they don't use tilapia like most places. Loved it. The shrimp tacos were also fantastic. They have a decent sized menu to choose from for a small restaurant, with a whole page just for kinds of tacos. The portions were pretty big. Great place.
We ordered chicken tacos and a shrimp burrito with chips and guacamole . The tacos were just ok, the burrito messy and mostly rice. The chips and guacamole were very good. One thing to point out: we never got a itemized receipt but a quick calculation showed we should have paid around $21 but the bill was $26 and when we paid by credit card it went to $27. There was no sign that said you pay a credit card fee. So if you do eat here check your bill carefully.
Very good tacos at a reasonable price. The salsas that come on the side are delicious without being incapacitating. Wide selection of soft drinks. Friendly staff. A little crowded depending on the time. Tables could use a wipe down once in a while, and the open containers of salsas on the tables should be covered because people talking and coughing and sneezing just do it over the container.
Barbacoa, lingua, and pastor tacos were excellent. Try the agua fresca as well; the pineapple flavor was divine!
Pretty big menu, phenomenal tacos with some outdoor seating
