Tacos Tolteca is our go to Mexican spot in the area. The food is pretty good, albeit sometimes they have not great days but for the most part the food is solid. We always get cashback too every time from the Upside app so that's an added bonus. When we order, we pretty much order a smorgasbord of food -- a burrito, quesadilla and some tacos. Sometimes even the cali fries because well i just love them. They have specials that are just on the board like birria and the tricolor burrito. The service is always great and the food is ready pretty quickly. Overall, i would definitely keep coming to this one because the prices are good for the portion you receive and the food is great!
I'm so extremely disappointed. I visited this place after reading reviews on Google. I placed an order consisting of a shrimp quesadilla and guacamole with chips. I specifically asked if the guacamole and chips were made in house, even mentioning how I visited another "authentic" Mexican spot and the guac had a mushy baby food consistency. The gentleman assured me their guac was fresh and not like that. Man my quesadilla was just a ton of cheese and a few shrimp, no flavor what so ever. The description in the menu had me think a little Pico de Gallo or lettuce/tomato would be on it. The chips were flavorless...no salt no lime no nothing. Now to the nasty flavorless mushy guacamole. I have had better guacamole at Chipotle, On the Boarder, home made, and even at several resorts in Jamaica. I've included a pictures. So disappointed...DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!
Food was flavorful, but the steak in the dragon burrito was very over cooked, it happens, no big deal. I noticed the shop was full of customers, every table was full, line to the door. I saw one man far in the back, one man on the grill and one woman handling the entire front and she was helping with food when she had the chance. This place is busy! Please be patient and kind!
I work for an online food delivery app. When I went to pick the food up it wasn’t ready. The guy said he just now saw the order when I got there. He also had an unpleasant attitude as if he didn’t want to be there. so I reported that to the company I work for. It’s supposed to be ready went you arrive and it was only one customer in the place and it was only two items in the order. The guy who prepared the food also didn’t properly close the sauce (this was Sunday 5/8 evening) so the customers food leaked all in the bag. I probably won’t pick up orders from this place again. Poor customer service.
Ordered the Dragon burrito it was fantastic. Guacamole very fresh . chips warm . service was exceptional. He really paid attention to my order .

If I could give negative stars I would, I ordered a chicken quesadilla and the one from taco bell taste better. That's sad, they just threw all the topping mixed together in the corner of the container, with lettuce and tomato. WTH who puts lettuce on a quesadilla? I asked for sour cream and guacamole on the side and the put it in top of a pile of lettuce, also it has ZERO flavor and the cheese tastes like its swiss cheese not a mexican blend that one would expect. If I pay 12 dollars for what is essentially a grilled cheese with chicken I expect it to be flavorful. Please ,please, please dont waste your money on this place. I also called to complain and they did nothing but say they were sorry, didnt even try to keep me as a customer. Beware to all who are considering coming here. The taco bell around the way is sadly better than this place, and that's saying alot. Completely disappointed.
First visit for lunch. Food and service were great. Small location with 5 or 6 tables. The birria tacos were awesome. Highly recommend you try. The Gordo burrito will knock your hunger out.
Worst I have ever had. My son got nachos and it was water in the bottom of the tray. The chips were soggy and tasted terrible. The bowl I had was the same way. Will not be going back.
